Brad

He shook his head when Jake said that the fire was his fault. "This family has so many problems," he said under his breath which earned him a glare from Jake. "You just keep talking to brother while I see why there is a lose horse." Without waiting for a reply, he slowly headed towards the lose mare.

Firefly continued her exploration of the barn. Her velvety ears flicked back and forth until she picked up the footfalls of a human. She turned around in surprise to seem human male walking towards her and she pinned her ears. The mare backed away from him and into the confines of the stables. She turned this way and that to look for another way out but squealed when she didn't see one.

Brad

He grabbed a halter and lead line then headed towards the horse. "Now where did you come from? I know your not from here, and there isn't any farms close by."

A startled neigh escaped the mare's rubbery lips. She lifted her body in a half rear and did it several times in nervousness. She pranced about at her nerves, her head held high to try and escape his reach. Firefly stamped her black-brown hooves and pinned her ears back. The mare considered pushing past him and finally huffed in frustration. She started off at a trot towards the human male before loping forward, hoping to throw him off.

Brad

"Easy now," he hope that the horse would stop her charge. "Take it nice and easy young one, no one is going to hurt you."

Harmony
She sprayed the veteracin on the wound. She looked up at Sassafras. " You ok darling?"

Sassafras

She pinned her ears and snapped at Harmony when she sprayed the stuff.

She said calmly," I told you it would hurt a little. Now we should wrap it up"

Firefly skidded to a halt when her charge didn't deter him. The mare paced in front of him in half fear and half frustration. "I knew this would happen," she vented. The mare pinned her ears at Brad and her head snaked forward. Her jaw snapped close to his hand, her teeth barely grazing it. His words only made her fear go up a notch as well as the halter and lead line in his hand.

Bard

He quickly turned the lead rope into a makeshift lasso. "I doubt you will stand still and let me put your halter on, so my only other option is to try and lasso you." He started to twirl the rope around, he then threw it hoping it would go around the horses neck.

Sassafras

She kept her ears pinned, not liking the feeling in her leg.
