"I doubt that we would hurt them in any way." Levi responded. He clicked his tongue and he and Chance went out of the ring at a trot. He watched a mare head off into the woods along with a girl and stallion. "Should we tell someone about the wild mare?" He questioned Jayden.

She took out a small spray bottle. "Sass this might sting a little but it will help get out anything nasty from that cut hun so i can wrap it up."

Kid
He said," the round pen? Oh that is like a training pen. Shark will be working in it for a little."

Jayden
"I think Harmony already knows. She's caring for Sassafras' leg. That red roan was Reining Faturnity Champion 2 yrs. ago. His name is Travellin' for Chics but Harmony calls him Kid. That mare she's caring for is Sassafras Brad's horse."

Levi nodded. "But the wild mare?" He questioned. "Shouldn't she be with a stallion, or a herd? Not alone and so close to the ranch?"

Firefly shook her head at him. "Nope. I don't know how y'all stand having them on your back along with those contraptions." She shook out her mane again and snorted at him. Firefly circled around the stallion again before nipping his shoulder, then his flank playfully. Her demeanor had changed quickly, but it happens all the time. "Out here, we can play anytime we want, eat anytime we want, and do almost anything we want."

Sassafras

She stood there calmly for Harmony. "So, how do you like being wild?"

Firefly tilted her head slightly in thought before answering. "I like it. There's no confines and no one telling you what to do. I also like it because of, well because of the freedom. I like to explore and that's partly why I am here right now. The other part is that I got separated from my herd and I'm on my own now. The ranch just seemed like an ideal place to be near because there seems to be minimum danger near here." Firefly relaxed her left back hoof as she continued her explanation.

Sassafras

She nodded, "I always dreamed of being free. My whole life I always wanted to get away from the humans and finally fulfill my dream." She glanced down at Harmony, "most of the time humans are bad to me and I just want to give up on the world....But there are humans like this who make me have faith in humanity, and that makes me want to stay."

Firefly looked at Sassafras with an odd mixture of curiousity and a bit of anger. "Ah, I see. You think that- oh never mind." She snorted and looked at Kid, Sassafras, and Harmony. "I'm going to go see if someone will come out and help to get you back. Safety in numbers has been the lesson of my life." Firefly shook out her mane before letting out a low whinny and raced off back towards the ranch. When the mare arrived, she didn't stop in the center, she sort of ran in a small circle around the corral she had mentioned to kid and the barn, making loud squeals to gain attention.

Firefly pranced to a halt near the barn and noticed the door was slightly open. The sun colored mare sniffed the opening and recoiled at the smell, but nudged it open anyways. Her curious nature took over and she looked about inside, her rear end sticking out of the barn while she sniffed the opening. The mare pawing the ground and winced at the clacking of her hooves. Her head swung back and forth to make sure she was safe before she continued inside.
