(( Okay, I'll try to have Kasper run across her as soon as I know where she is, or you could have Lily run into him. ))
Kasper
Afternoon was the best time for lazing around in a day. It was always the most relaxing part of the day, just late enough in the day that the winter sun was beginning to soften, but not so late that night fell and it was time for real night life to begin. Unfortunately, Kasper had found little luck yesterday in his endeavors for food. Usually, it was easy. He was a cat that had paid very careful attention to mentally map a cozy little sort of territory for himself, one that had no availability to hunting grounds (they had little use to him since he could not confirm a target with sight), but it was just about prime real estate for restaurants, which always dumped their food out back every night.
However, there was apparently a new dog in the area that decided to raid just about all of Kasper's daily stock. Kasper had made out with a few slivers of rice and a half eaten sardine. So, today, Kasper's stomach growled, and, as a result, he found himself pacing out in the back alleyway of his favorite restaurant. It was a particular day that they always seemed to close early, and Kasper knew it was just a matter of time before a busboy came out with the days garbage. Then, Kasper could feast.
Cinderella
Cinderella was in a panic, skittering through the snow and sending it flying everywhere with her frantic paws for dear life. Her coat was as white as the snow blanketing the congested sidewalks, meaning that all of the hustling people, already unobservant, simply didn't see her. It led to her being inadvertently bumped right into the roaring road that ran rampant with vehicles. That was why Cinderella was in a panic, and the pressed snow beneath her soft paws was more like ice than any sort of traction.
She cried out as a truck came barreling towards her, scrambling on the slick road in order to scramble out of the way of the tires. She hunched and squeezed her eyes shut as the truck roared overhead. Once it was gone, Cinderella couldn't move. Car after car, even a bus, drove right over her, and she just hunkered as they all roared overhead. She was paralyzed in horror, and it wasn't until someone saw, yelled out in alarm, and stopped the traffic to save her that she moved. She wasn't thinking sensibly. She was just terrified so, instead of being smart enough to scamper to the woman, she sprang up and darted away, slipping and sliding on the paced road until she reached the snowy sidewalk on the other side. Immediately, she darted into the first alleyway she saw, and, as a result, she ran straight into the back end of a large black male.
