Opal sighed looking down at the ground sadly " Kioni... we were young stupid zoo wolves when we meet... I fell in love with Cole and we had you and your sister. We all escaped but they had a tracker on me so I was brought back to the zoo and...... they did something to me..... something to my brain....." she trailed off tears steaming down her face I-I don't know what they did but it was wrong of me to do what I did to Chief and ill never forgive myself and I understand if you, your sister and Cole never forgive me either" she whispered

Shadow howled nuzzling his mother even though he had no idea what was wrong or was happening his eyes were still closed

[guns for hands]

Eclipse

She curled tighter around her two remaining pups and sighed sadly. "Nothing." She lied to Hunter. Soon she found herself drifting off into sleep...

Vincent

He lapped at her soft neck fur, comforting her. He nuzzled her as she cried into his fur and fell asleep. Soon he fell asleep as well, listening to the cadence of her heartbeat.

Ebony

"Thanks, Thunder. You mean so much to me." She said with a huge yawn.

Shadow whimpered and curled up to his mother falling asleep to the drumming sound of her heartbeat.

She walked out of the den and sat down, she followed Danny's scent.

Thunder
"You mean a lot to me. Short time or not, I'm sorry." He said looking at her.

She fell asleep, Vincents scent filling her nose she hadn't been this close to a wolf since her previous mate.

Jake nodded as Dark moon told him to take care of Eclipse. "I love her. Of course I'll take care of her.," he admitted as he looked at the pup standing outside the den asking questions. His eyes trailed over to the female laying beside him as he laid his head on her neck. "No is not the time to ask questions, Hunter. Your mother just wants to sleep.," he whispered to the pup.

Kioni listened to his mother talk and felt a huge pang of sadness rushing through his chest. The pup whimpered a bit as he looked down fighting the tears. "Papa said he never felt like he was good enough. Like he couldn't help you. He was scared and after you took Chief.. he became.. Who he is now.," the pup replied to her feeling bad for the entire family. He wished he could go back and change some of the things that happened. Then he realized she'd called his father stupid. "Papa was never stupid. If you actually knew him and listened to him you'd understand.," he told her feeling his face scrunch up.

Opal looked up at Kioni "I-I know and its okay that he was scared of me im a monster" she whispered looking at the ground again her tears almost making a puddle on the ground "No your right.... I was the stupid one not him" she said softly and staggered up and limped over to Kioni nuzzling his side "I-im so sorry" she repeated

Kioni saw her getting up and felt like he should start shaking or running away from him. The pup took a step back again nearly coming out of the den. He noticed she was bringing her muzzle towards him and began to growl at her. Only for her to nuzzle him on his side. He backed up even more not wanting her to touch him. "Papa is much better now that he has Chief. She makes him smile.. Sage too. She's been such a help with us especially since Papa is over stressed. She keeps us out of his way when he needs to rest. I don't think he likes her a lot though," he yipped wagging his tail back and forth. He wasn't sure of his father's relationship with Sage and certainly didn't want Opal to be all in their business. The pup waved his tail a little more before slowing down to come to a stop.

Opal whimpered backing away from her son "I-im not going to hurt you" she muttered sadly "but I understand that your scared of me. Chief deserves to be with you and your father, im glad Cole has you two" Opal winced at the mention of Sage "And Sage is probably good for your family" she muttered laying down
