Eclipse chuckled. "We should just let him rest. Maybe later." She smiled.

Frostbite lay down with a grunt. She sighed contentedly and closed her eyes, letting the sun warm her. "Thanks." She whispered.

I walked to the den that had held the possibly sleeping wolf name Soul. "I am going to watch him." I said, getting closer to the den. I looked inside, to see if he was there.

Eclipse laughed. "Don't wake him." She whispered.

Frostbite smiled. She lay her head over his shoulders and looked at the sky, watching the birds fluttering about, so carefree.

Frostbite lifted her head. "Not yet. It's only been a day." She said carefully but sweetly, not wanting to hurt his feelings. She did want to become mates with him, but what if there was someone else?

Frostbite leaned into him and nuzzled him. "Thanks. You're really sweet, even though you are a bag of dead squirrels." She joked, remembering his earlier comment about himself.

Eclipse rolled her eyes jokingly and followed her. She stood beside her quietly but awkwardly, watching Soul sleep. "That'll be you one day, and your brothers and sisters will be the ones watching." She whispered with awe.
