Alaska stared at the bright sky. The clouds were turning grey. She got up, her paws still aching, even though she's had a rest. She went up to Star. "Star? Is there any more food.. I'm starving." Alaska said, sitting down in front of Star. She would have thought that Sati would be back by now. Maybe not. But just maybe. She trotted off, down into the clearing. If she could find Sati, it would make her day a whole lot better. She caught a glimpse of the other wolf, Dase. But, she decided not to talk to him. It would be kind of awkward. But maybe it wouldn't? She thought about it. And yet again, knowing Alaska, she went up to Dase. "Hi.." she said, in a warm, hushed voice. She was waiting for Dase's reply.

Dase: He looked at the female. "Hello young pup." He spoke in a gruff voice.

Star: She looked at alaska and nodded. "Near the entrance, the dead kills are put there."

Alaska;;

"Hi..." she said again, noticing she had said the same thing before. "Where are you from?" she asked, curiously, sniffing the air.

Dase: HE glanced at her. "Oh ya know here and there." He sat down. "Yourself?"

"I'm from the Amaya valleys.. it's, a long ways away." she said. "So, are you excited for the moonlight howl?"

Dase: He glanced at her. "Um no, I do not participate." He said with a slight edge to his voice.

Alaska didn't know what to say. It had become so awkward, that she wanted to howl. "Do you know where a certain wolf went? You may have heard of him, his name is Sati-Turk."

Alaska shuddered at the thought of being killed. She paced around the den, one paw, then the other. Over, and over. It was like a story, but a story with no beginning. She was like a story with no beginning. She walked up to an evergreen tree, and laid down. Soon, maybe some day, she would find an answer. And that answer would explain the meaning of the Aurelia lights.
