Varien's gaze flitted over Astral for the briefest of seconds, before he followed after Moon. He never looked back, yet ever so briefly signaled for Nixie to wait for him. They will not harm you. The silvery brute followed her, his thick and long pelt billowing out in a sudden gust of wind, making him look like a spirit. His single dark blue eye surveyed the den as if it were any other structure, although it truly wasn't. This was my first and original den. I would have returned, but I assumed they had settled here. He entered and sat, turning towards her before he began.
"As you already know, your betaess broke the rules of the agreement," the brute said in his cold, deep bass voice, pausing before continuing. "From what I've heard, she supposedly doesn't know; strange, isn't it? She is the beta of your pack, yet everyone knows of the deal before her. I was lead to believe that the beta was supposed to know before all, or at least the same time; and if she didn't know of the deal anyway, why would she be spying upon loners? Pack wolves and loners are supposedly not to interact much anyway unless the loner has shown aggression, which I have not. Yet she came up to the very mouth of my den and confronted me," the silvery brute continued without hestitating until now, the only thing moving his long silvery bangs on his face and his maw. "How will she be disciplined?" Varien finished coldly, knowing there was much more he could've said. But always a wolf of a few words; even those few sentences had been quite a stretch for him.
