Moon said looking over into her den not seeing the beta and she growled to herself I told her to not leave moon walked over to the den seeing the pups and looking to see if any of them were awake. She walked to the entrance and sat there watching it making sure the pups were safe.

Astral very vaguely heard heard the word 'pack' and 'camp' which tugged her curiousity more why are they talking about the camp? are these wolves up to something? slowly she made her way still remaining out of sight behind the den she hid in a broken and half frozen tree log covered in snow which should be enough to mask her scent well make it much more difficult to smell at least since she was a bit closer she'd be able to hear their conversation better.

"Relax, I do not mean like that," Varien said, although he resisted the urge to roll his single eye. Do you believe I am suicidal? Oh no- you just don't know the truth. Varien glanced at her cleaning herself, then flickering her ears and standing up. He gazed upon her wound, tilting his head almost to himself. I wasn't using my claws; did I scratch her with a coarse paw pad? Hm. I must be more wary when I test these mortals, I don't want to mar my honor. Oh, she just realized we were being watched. Let us see what else she senses. "Yes, a pack wolf; fae. We have been being watched since we made it halfway up the hill," the silvery brute said simply, flickering his tail as he watched her. A little late, but nonetheless it's snowing heavily; she has obviously not had to face the challenges of I, not being able to see on one side has enhanced my sense of smell and hearing. They aren't keeping their nose out of my business I see, they are rather hypocritical these pack wolves. Saying I must stay out of camp, yet spying on I as I clear out my den. I will leave them gifts for there deal keeping. A cold smile crossed the silvery wolf's muzzle as he planned, standing up and stepping slightly outside to see if the snow had slowed so he could go fishing. Yes, fishing; there was a reason his den was so close to a lake.

Nixie looked at him and looked at were he was looking. Nixie saw he was looking at a lake and she turned to him. what are you thinking? she thought in her head and looked at the lake again. She sniffed the air "she's close," she said quietly and narrowed her eyes to see through the snow. Nixie closed her eyes and listened as well as she could. The wind making it hard to hear but she herd the faintest sound of snow crunching. Nixie smelled again "smells like a beta," she said looking at him and turning to the snow smelling the sect of a beta and... pups? she though definitely smelling pups. Nixie looked at the brute "she had pups," she said and turning back to the lake.

Varien felt her gaze on him for a second, but he didn't blink or alter his gaze from the mostly frozen lake as he waited. Yes, she must be to hear what we are saying over this gale. Close proximity is a must. The silvery brute sat down, and wrapped his feathery tail over his hindquarters and inhaling the cold, crisp air. Smells like a beta; dominant. Observant fae. He was not motionless as he waited some more to hear what else she'd smell. Then... Pups. Yessssss..... "The senses of nature," Varien said to himself, before nodding his head to her in acknowledgement, a terrifying lopsided smile crossing his maw; the only thing that moved for the time. "Based on the scent, how old would the pups be? How many?" the silvery brute said simply, although that look never faded as he questioned her.. He kept his eyes out over the lake, licking his maw before going completely still except for his eye. It scanned the frozen tundra mercilessly, seeking out places were a wolf would hide. Like a rock, a snowbank, and a snow covered tree....

Bella is a very emotionally complicated female. In her heart, she loves others and loves to help. But from first meeting her, you wouldn't know. She's cold, and tends to keep distance. Others have to work to get her attention. She respects authority, but doesn't let them take it too far. She does stand up for herself, and doesn't like being under anothers foot. She will fight with her all for what she loves, and always keeps the ones close to her safe.

Astral knew for the fact that hiding would prove useless now if they decided to attack well the other one is injured she could easily deal with the brute herself after all she is a large and powerful wolf as large as a brute even and she has enough experience on her paws to get rid of him if need to be but the fact he looks oh so disturbingly look similar to her mate the scars and coat colors and such, she quickly shook her head naw she should stop thinking about that her mate is as good as dead well she hoped she didn't really went for the kill by biting his throat she just tackled him into a semi rabid river.

(I have no idea why i came up with this idea so yea you know what i'm suggesting here).

Nixie smiled slightly and inhaling the cold air many times times before exhaling it all "I would say about 3 months old," she said quietly so the beta would not hear her. She looked out on the lake "well, if I were a wolf trying to hide I would choose some shrubs or bushes," she said looking at him and pointing with her snout were the shin she was talking about was. Nixie looked to him "she's closer now," she said and falling silent and peered out of the den having snow fall on her head.
