Varien circled around behind her, watching her from a large snowbank as she woke up breathing heavily. His left ear flickered slightly, and that was it as he determined his next move. It would be much easier to leave you there to perish, and walk as I have done with many others. Yet you predict the future; you can see my destiny. I have much to do, yet letting you die isn't one of them; yet. You have value, being able to see the future.... knowledge is power. The silvery brute walked down the slope from behind, kneeling down and picking her up by the scruff and sliding her onto his back without offering an explanation. He made sure she was on halfway at least, before he began back up the slope digging his claws in for every step, since he had almost doubled his weight and it was uphill. Yet he kept going; for him this was life. An uphill struggle, all of the time. Nothing new. Yet helping someone was... regardless if it was for a chance to glimpse into the future or not.
Nixie lied there and she looked at him as he picked her up. She was not ready to fight getting off so the smaller fae just lied there across his back. She finally truly woke up and got off his back into the snow. "I can walk myself." She said looking at him and walked up the hill. "I was fine, you should have left me there." why did you save me? I don't need 'saving' she though as she walked up the hill and in her mind the picture of the black wolf in her dream kept playing over and over again.
(A mate for Orion umm nothing really important has happened but the beta came back from being gone a long time because she had pups and she brought them to camp.)
