A white ear flickered to a masculine sound from behind. Blair ceased her movement for but a moment to glance back, taking in the sight of a familiar black figure. Fire. "Hi..."the fae let out softly, as if afraid to hear her own voice,"May I help you?" Blair had taken account of her surroundings twice already, and was sure there was no harm in being in the particular area she was in, and according to the sun it wasn't quite late. There had seemed to be no account for alarm, and in fact, the fae considered herself quite safe. Away from many bodies, avoiding conflictions. The fae flickered her tail slightly, white fur swooshing with the movement.

"Ugh." Heavy steps bound along the dirt, with it, stern eyes scouted his surroundings. Nick huffed a puff of crisp air as a relief and clearing of his thoughts, trying to best locate a small herd of deer. Though he knew they wouldn't be anywhere close to where he was at the moment. The brute kept a heavy pace, carrying himself along the sea of green that presented itself before him, engulfing everything around the animal, making it harder to maneuver through thin branches and trees.

Finally. Rain stopped, heart beating along with roaring water. The river at last. Rain's sanctuary. There was something about the current of water, its soft hum, that made the fae feel safe. But why? One mistake and she could be dead in the matter of minutes. A black ear flickered once. Twice. Picking up distant sounds of calls, 'caws' belong to that of a few crows. Scavengers of the dead, hovering around a carcass probably. That means someone ate well not too long ago. Rain's stomach growled quietly, and she sighed, laying herself down by the edge of the water, close enough to dip a paw in.
