Twig sat in the midst of the forest, breathing deeply and watching the wild life pass her by. She wasn't a hunter, she felt no need to harm the animals that meandered on in their little lives. She felt like a part of the background, she was nothing but a sideways glance to these animals as these animals were to her on most days. She glanced skyward, looking at the sunlight passing between the trees in golden rays. What a good day to be alive.


Pan pulled himself from his den with a heavy yawn and a rough shake of his pelt. He had slept in. Again. With an irritated huff he padded heavily towards the main camp in hope of seeing some prey being brought in.

"Aww don't worry about them," Said Scar. "If they do come, I'll protect you. Besides, you gotta live a little right?" Scar rolled over and rubbed his handsome pelt on the gravel.

"But if we are catching an elk, don't we need a lot of wolves?" She whimpered to Kimba. "We should get them I think." She tried not to sound mean, even though she didn't due to her sweet voice, but it sounded harsh to her.

Seeing nothing, not even a wolf at the camp, Pan let out an unhappy huff. He felt the familiar prickles of fear shock across his pelt. He hadn't been left, not again. He scented the air and followed the nearest wolf's scent. Today was not going to be a good day.


Twig twitched her ear at the sound of a pair of wolves conversing- then chose to ignore it. She could go over later.
