Mars sighed, "You worry too much, Wren," he sighed, outstretching his long limbs and caught up to her with ease. His golden gaze remained forward, locked on the wolves that dug at the Earth. "I suppose you got what you wanted," he added, nodding his head forward towards the working pack members. Without another word, the alpha continued past the lithe female before reaching his rock. The burly alpha climbed onto the stone and looked below him, seeing the depth of the hole from his current position. "Well done," he said, "We can drag the kill in there and store it. Thank you," he said kindly, although his tone was firm and unyielding. The alpha's ears flicked, nearly expecting Wren to remind him not to work with the wolves. He glanced towards the female, the one who had spoken to him with a concerned tone, and smirked.
