Tuki
Tuki rose from his cosy bed of moss. He stretched, looking around. Kiki was still in bed. He wasn't surprised; it had been a long day yesterday. They were stranded in the middle of the forest, with no food or water in sight, and now suddenly they're here, with water and food galore.
Kiki
Kiki blinked. Where was she? There was light but gloomy fog swirling around her, making her dizzy. "Hello?" she called. "I-is anyone there?" She started walking forwards, until she tripped on a rock and fell over. "Ow!"
Suddenly, a lightly glowing raccoon dog appeared. "Hello," it hummed. "Have you had a good night's sleep? Or should I say, are you still having one?"
Kiki padded over to the dog cautiously, and said, "Who are you? And what do you mean, 'still having one'?" The glowing figure's eyes widened with amusement. "Don't you see? You're dreaming!"
This time it was Kiki's eyes that widened. "But- how? That's impossible!" she gasped. "How can you be here yet I'm dreaming?"
"Well," said the figure, "it's not a normal dream..." Kiki rolled her eyes. "Yeah, figured that."
"Hey, I'm not finished yet!" the dog huffed. "You're in what I like to call a 'mindscape dream.' A mindscape dream is a dream that you think you're conscious in, but yet you're not. You're fast asleep."
"You haven't answered all my questions yet!" frowned Kiki. "Who are you?"
The figure started to fade; Kiki was waking up. "Hey, don't go! I don't even know your name yet- come back, come back...!"
