Kari swiftly followed after Silus, listening to Skyback's howl. "So Skyback is a friend of yours?" She asks, trotting up next to him.

Shard thought for a moment, then decided to give the pup a chance. "Okay, show me what skills you already know," he says, "The basics are hunting. Have you ever caught anything on your own before?"

Aura nodded as he stood. "Yeah, I have caught a few rabbits." He told Shard. Aura knew some of the fundamentals of fighting from watching others but since he was younger than the others there was no one for him to really practice with.

Shard nods. "That's good that you have been watching other wolves and learning how to defend yourself." He says, pausing for a brief moment to scratch behind his ear. "Still, you'll need to learn more. I could teach you, but is your father okay with you learning to fight?" He asks.

Aura's ear twitched when Shard questioned him about rather or not Von was okay with him fighting. "um. He thinks I am too young. Though he knew how to fight when he was my age." He said simply.

Silus;

Silus paused for a moment and hesitated. "Yes, Skyback and his pup Aura are very friendly towards our pack. Skyback even helped the pack when my father was still around." he quietly said. He carefully tried to change the subject. Silus regretted mentioning his father, it only makes him sad thinking about it . Silus had spotted the deer and joked with Kari, "race you to it"!

"sure" Brooke softly said. She stepped out a little further from Iris' den so she didn't crowd her while she was working. Brooke watched the distance and shuffled her paws letting the thick, green grass bristle upon her paws.

Kari noticed the change of tone in his voice and got distracted a bit. After Silus ran up ahead oh her a few paces, she snaps back into focus and runs after him. "You're on," She says, catching up fast.

"Well parents are like that sometimes," He says, "But how about this... I'll meet you tomorrow at this tree and we can practice fighting, okay?" Shard says, pointing his nose at an oddly shaped tree with vines hanging from it's branches. He turns back toward Aura and a small grin crosses his snout.

Silus had a small smile on his face while running up to the deer. Silus started puling the deer dragging it.
