"We Are Wild, We Are Free, We Are Mustangs."
.........Mustangs of Keoni Mountains is a Roleplay based on real-life wild mustangs that live in North America, and have to survive normal wilderness survival issues, such as: humans, predators, birthing issues, birth defects, illness, weather, fire, and battles. They live hard lives and are rarely able to survive over 20 years. This year, everyone is tense, because something is coming... But what it is is a mystery. Will you find out why everyone is so tense? Will you stop it? Or will you run selfishly away?
Details & Rules:
- The wild mustangs of Keoni Mts. are regular mustangs that face regular wilderness issues. To find out more about wild mustangs, please watch: "Cloud: Wild Stallion Of The Rockies" by NATURE
- We will start the roleplay with just one band (or group of mustangs made up of one stallion band leader, a lead mare, and mares and foals) and when young mustangs are kicked out of that band to prevent inbreeding, they will become bachelors if male, or join a different band if female.
- Colts will be kicked out of their mother's band when they are around 1 and 1/2 years old and become bachelors, Fillies will leave or be kicked out when the next breeding season comes after their second birthday.
- Make sure to follow all CS forum rules, especially during breeding season and birthing season.
- Breeding season is in late summer to early fall, Foaling season is in late winter to early spring (sometimes even into summer). However, females can be in heat or give birth at any chosen time, the seasons listed are just approximated for average wild mustangs.
- SOME MUSTANGS WILL DIE! We are roleplaying horses in the wild, not pets that can visit the vet at any time, or are invincible.
- Stallions generally fight for a mare or a whole band when they are around 5 years old. There may only be one band leader per band. Stallions protect their band and breed, while the lead mare finds water and good grazing spots for the band.(sometimes stallions will take over the lead mares job)
- To prevent long, continuous fights between stallions or other wilderness issues, I will use Random.org to decide who wins.
- When a wilderness issue or fight ends, at least one mustang must have an injury, or death. (I will use Random.org to decide mustangs' fates in some circumstances)
- You must post at LEAST one paragraph per mustang when roleplaying.
- Please start out with only one mustang please! You will get more when foals are born!
- Mustangs may be any color or pattern, but keep in mind the setting. Foals that are white or cremello are easy for predators and humans to target, (In other words, try to make it more camouflaged with darker colors and patterns.
- To make the roleplay more interesting and exciting, only the first 4 to 6 joiners will get to create their own mustang. Later joiners will have to ask for a newborn foal that is available (You may not roleplay your own mustang's foal, it must be given to someone else to roleplay).

It is currently early summer, and the band is thriving in the plentiful food. But, as the temperature is rising, tensions are rising as well. Everyone is sure that there will soon be an end to all this peace in the mountains.
