She curled up, asleep, but soon woke up with a sharp pain in her belly again, "Shadow!!" She yowled, as her breathing became slightly labored. Were the pups coming? She thought quickly, but she just had absolutely no strength left.

He watched as Nala ran off to play. He smiled, but had a sad sigh. However, he quickly padded over and whispered something only she could hear, "Come with me for just a second? I absolutely promise you'll be back in two minutes, max".
