I laid my ears back, not liking what was going on. Why does this have to be me? I thought to myself, well I can't be all bad I guess. Maybe they will actually be really nice and sweet like my family was.

She nodded. "Maybe... maybe you could be alpha brute...?" She asked shyly.

I listened to what they were saying, trying to make sense of what they said.

He gasped, "Now, Night. We've only just met. I'm not even technically a member of your pack yet. I do like you, but I'm not yet sure about mates" He said gently, not at all ready for this much responsibility. "But", he said quickly to stop her from freaking out, "Maybe sometime soon, after we truly get to know each other, we can be together. For now, I would be perfectly happy just raising this adorable bundle of fur." He had set Nala down, and he now tickled her tummy gently, hoping to get a laugh out of her.

I was lost in my thought when Luke tickled my stomach, I yelped in surprise but I then laughed. I can't be caught by surprise again, I have to pay attention.

He slipped her off of his back with a worried look on his face, "are you sure that you are alright?" You seemed to be in a lot of pain." He licked her cheek

He quickly licked her tummy, "I didn't mean to frighten you, little one!" He nuzzled his head against hers, smiling and wagging his tail rapidly back and forth. He woofed loudly and his massive chest shook as he barked. His ears were happily perked forward, as he still awaited a response from Night.

She nodded quickly, "Yeah, Shadow! I'm good! I think it was just the rabbit. It might not have agreed completely with the puppies." She giggled and smiled as he licked her on the cheek.

He sighed in relief, glad that she would be fine. " time we can try a fish to see if that's any better." He nuzzled her gently and licked her stomach, "and hopefully they with like it" he looked at her and smiled

" Of course. Silly me." She barked licking nala ' s muzzle gently. She wagged her tail. "Are you hungry little one?

She smiled and nodded, "Yes, please, Shadow! Is there any way you could bring me one while I lay down? I'm rather sleepy". There was exhaustion in her voice as she spoke. She just wanted to go lay down for a bit, and maybe take a nap.
