"My dam told me stories or the Phantom. My favorite was always the one of how after being away for so long, she came back. Are they all true?", Classic says excitedly. She had always loved the stories of the mysterious Phantom and the Piped Piper.

Desert Rain
Desert pushed his muzzle to Red's before moving it back to feel pushy."Red,"He murmured,"How orginal". He added the last part softly with humor, intertwined into it."May I ask you a question?,"He asked ears perked toward her with full attention, but around his surroundings,"other than that". He added just in case she said you just did.

Wave dipped her head, "Of course," The chestnut tobiano nickered. She took a few steps forward, flicking her ears and lowering her head submissively to the other mare. Wave had no interest in being lead mare. Not yet at least. Maybe when she was older and more experienced.

Killer smiled at both of them, then nickered to Phantom, "Really? A famous horse decendent? In the flesh?" He smiled. Every foal was told stories of the famous ponies.

Red flicked her ears, a breeze off the ocean stirring her mane and blowing her tail around her. "Sure. Have at 'er." The sorrel mare nickered.

(last post, got to go)

~The Phantom~

"Yes," I nodded. "About how how the Pied Piper was never caught but the Phantom came back to the marsh after being with the humans. Her daughter had accepted them, and had become famous in her own way, and how The Phantom had never caught or seen again, along with her stallion the Pied Piper." I gave a smile.

"Wow! I always thought the The Phantom was so mysterious and the Piper was obviously a great stallion if he kept The Phantom. It would be great to lead by a male like Piped Piper!", Classic replies excitedly.

Desert Rain
"Do you have a herd?,"He asked before feeling like it was to soon to ask. In his mind it was, but in a way to him it also wasn't. He just had wait to see if she would reply to his advances, she came so that mean't she wasn't meaning now his question was stupid. His ears pinned down afterwards.

Killer chuckled as the mare spoke. Nickering quietly, he first nudged Classic, the mare he'd first spoken to. He nudged her behind him, asking her to join his herd.

"I did." Red nickered, "I lost them a little under a year ago to pony penning day." The stout mare flicked her ears, about to say 'Why do you ask?' but she already knew why he'd asked. She waited for his reply, sighing at the warm sensation of the sun on her sorrel fur.

Desert Rain
"Your a smart mare, I deem you already know,"Desert replied, ears still pinned back,"I just need your answer". He gave a small tilt of his head waiting to see her answer.

"I will join you for the time being. I may move on later if I find you unworthy. We will see how you lead", Classic says strongly.

Red prefered rather to answer with actions rather than words. Simply, she nickered and stepped behind him, resting her muzzle on his back. The sorrel mare flicked her ears.

(Please read all of the front page, including the part that tells you about wild horse behavior. A mare cannot simply leave a herd. The stallion will not let her. Mind you, if the lead mare gets annoyed with a mare, she can drive another mare out and the stallion can't do anything as he is below the leaad mare in a herd's ranking.)

Killer nodded and lipped her mane. The dark stallion then turned to Phantom. She seemed sort of timid compared to Classic so he approached a little slower, but initially asked the same way.
