Orion noticed that change of tone in her voice as she ended her sentence. He stood up and leant back into a bowing position. His tail drifted from side to side, gradually becoming faster and faster. "Okay... How fast are your reflexes?" He asked, a little smile growing on his maw. Orion sprung from the bowing position, aiming for Aspen's feet, hoping to make a gentle tackle.

Aspen

The fae was listening closely to his words; and watching his frame is it bowed back. It didn't register for a moment that he had sprung towards her, and she began to take a few steps back when she finally realized. Next thing she knew she had been tackled, and a light growl left her throat; soft and perhaps playful. He had caught her off guard.

Orion grinned in triumph, "seems you may know how to have fun," he said, biting her ear playfully. "How would you escape a situation where you're pinned though?" He asked, "you're already at a disadvantage because I've caught you unaware," he said, with a grin.

Aspen

Aspen began to pull her head away after he pulled on her ear, and while she knew he was only playing; for the moment, she had to think before acting. "If i were as big as you, oaf, i'd push you off, but obviously thats not something i can do." She said lightly, a bit of a sarcastic grin on her maw. Thinking through her options, she turned her head to lightly nip at the inside of his leg.

Orion scoffed, "charming," he commented, feeling the nip from the inside of his leg. Lifting it up, he observed his leg. "Wise move, but even so I could retaliate," he smiled, leaping away. "You seem to know how to defend yourself from what I've observed," he said. "Its not much to go on, but I expect you're a good warrior," he complimented.

"Well you are rather large," Aspen returned lightly, adding extra exaggeration to the word 'large'. Getting to her feet she listened to his compliment. She hadn't heard one of those in a long while. "If you could, why haven't you?" She let the compliment slide through one ear and out the other, and zoning in on the game they were playing. Perhaps later she would dwell on it. She bowed her frame back as he had before, and gave her coat a quick ruffle as she watched him.

Orion stood still, "why hurt a rose in a thorn bush?" He replied, unsure if that would mean anything to her. Arching his back tall like a cat, he swiftly glided to the side, lunging forward and wagging his tail slowly, awaiting for her to strike. "Make your move," he teased, swiftly gliding from side to side.

Aspen

Aspen gave the light roll of her eyes. "You think your quite the charmer, no?" She teased after he had spoken, and watched him move from side to side, as well as lounging slightly. She weighed her options; a pounce would do barely anything, unless she could get behind him; so she lowered her head slightly, and began to move to the right, still in a playful way.

Orion raised an eyebrow, "just trying to be nice," he admitted, brushing his tail along the floor. "Not often I meet a wolf like yourself," he said, watching her every move. His tail raised slowly. He crouched, keeping his elbows off the ground. This allowed him to move more freely. Watching her every move, Orion twisted his body to enable him to follow her movements.

"Oh, and what kind of wolf am I?" She asked as she continued her trek to the side. Once she had come far enough, she scaled the rock he had been on earlier, and looked down at him through pale blue eyes. Perhaps from here she could find some leverage to make her move; it was just a game after all.
