"Er.." Ace said to the fae, unsure of what to do. Considering he didn't interact with others much, it made it hard for him when he did. "Fine, I guess.." The brute mumbled, almost unaudible. Standing up in the snow, his large muscles rippled beneath his pelt. Ace lifted his nose to scent the air, and then brought his head to her eye view. "How are you..?" He asked, a bit nervous. [wb]

Reena tasted the air, yet smelled no one in the near proximity. She just shook her head to Ace, and replied, with a stiff shake of her head. "Let's find out." Flicking her tail for him to follow, Reena led him out of camp, and tasted the air for anyone to patrol with.

Crow raised an eyebrow, "So you were trying to help Severus? Is that it?" He asked quietly seeming to calm down. Crow sighed softly, "I see no punishment in that, your lucky it's only me that has discovered this.. Like I said I respect fellow Hunters" He murmured glancing at the loner she called 'Severus'. "Now it's your turn, I just want to make this clear first.. I do not know you therefore you have never earned my respect, just because I'm cutting her slack doesn't mean I'll spare you.. So .. Explain yourself."

Blue eyes alert, Piper heard their voices. She snarled. "Who do you think you are and what are you doing on the edge of my territory?!" she snarled, staring at them. The fae was agitated, and anyone could make her snap. She was lethal, wolves didn't usually win a fight with her. This certain brute who was talking about her infront of her face was specifically large, but she could take him down with certain tactics. "I asked you a question!" she snapped, claws digging into the ground.

Severus nodded at the brute and calmed his posture, he needed his brain to rule his head, not his instincts. He cleared his throat and spoke confidently "I was travelling on the edge of another pack's border but they hunted me down and attacked me anyway, even though I wasn't on their territory. As you can tell I have suffered some injuries and probably would have been in a worse state if Dakota didn't find me. I didn't wish to cause a rift in your pack and are happy to move on if you so wish" he moved to stand beside Dakota and gave the brute his full attention. If he had to go that was how it had to be, the brute was being more than reasonable. He still hoped though in his heart that he would be able to join the pack, but he wanted to see how the brute would react to his story before Severus asked.

Crow scowled, "Sorry to hear that" He murmured shaking his head. "You haven't caused any trouble, and you haven't harmed any of my pack mates.. That's all that matters to me" Crow grunted watching as Severus went to stand by Dakota. He glanced at Dakota and nodded, "It was kind of you to help hi-" Crow was cut off when he heard a unfamiliar howl. His fur bristled slightly, "You've got to be kidding me.." Crow muttered turning to face where the howl originated from. "Two? Must be my lucky day."

Severus came over to Dakota, and she suddenly felt comforted. Being around this brute made her happy, and relaxed. As he stood by her, she lifted her muzzle to his ear. "Severus.." Dakota murmured, quiet enough so Crow couldn't hear. "Do you want me to leave? Tell me your true feelings, because I know some wolves will hide their true opinions." Her ears perked at the sound of a low growl from the bushes and reply growl from Crow. The tense feeling stacked onto the nervous feeling in Dakota's muscles. The tense was from the anonymous growl, and the nervous was from her question to Severus.

Ace didn't know what to do besides follow Reena like a lost pup. A brute following a small fae looked ridiculous. "Er.. I'll wait by the camp entrance. Let me know when you're ready to go." He said with a brisk nod. Not waiting for a reply, he trotted swiftly to the camp entrance. Circling once or so, he lay down on the dirt in front of the camp entrance. [wb]

Severus turned to face her, his grey eyes honest and his heart pounding with hidden happiness "Look, it is no point of covering up that I care about you but I don't want to start a life with a mate as loners."He sighed a little and looked down at the snow. His parents were loners and he knew how hard it was for them when they had him and the feeling of not really having a home when they constantly had to move place to place. He wasn't sure whether he would be able to follow in his parents paw prints and let his own pups go through the same thing. “Look, first let’s see if I can be accepted, alright?” he said quietly and bumped his head on Dakota's shoulder before hearing a growl. He padded to the sound and growled when he saw the female “May I help you?” his voice sarcastic.

Both of the brutes were up against the fae. If she were to fight, she had no chance at winning. Dakota was unsure of what to do at the moment. The thought of her packmate and close friend fighting against a loner sent a shiver down her spine. Blood shed is one of the things Dakota disliked most. “I suggest you explain yourself.” Dakota growled to fae, coming up behind the two brutes. She pushed in between them coming face to face with this anonymous fae. “Who are you anyway?” Dakota asked in a rude sarcastic tone of voice. Dakota may have taken sympathy on Severus, but only because he was injured and she was lonely. Now, none of these feelings burdened her, and this wolf had growled to them first.

When Crow saw the female he realized how young she looked, younger than all of them. Probably around the age of 2 or 3, she was smaller by comparison also. But Crow knew not to under estimate loners, from personal experience. Crow then noticed her battle scars, this loner was used to fighting. He sighed softly shaking his head, this Fae had a lot of guts even though she clearly stood no chance. Crow knew what it was like to be cornered, a cornered animal with lash out the first chance they got. Well this situation was much like that, and Crow didn't want any rash decisions. "Both of you listen, give her some room.." He trailed off glancing at the unfamiliar Fae and nodded. "We don't want any fighting ya hear? But if it comes to that I will personally take you on.. And that's not a threat, just a warning. So the most logical thing you should do is tell us why your in our territory, or you could just run off and pretend this whole thing never happened.. But I wouldn't let you get far so please, do like the Fae said and explain yourself.. The truths gonna come out one way or another so just get it over with."

Dakota gave a brisk nod to the fae as Crow agreed with what she said. Backing out from between the brutes, she flicked Severus with her tail. She beckoned for him to come to her. When he did follow her, she sat quietly on the cold snow. “Severus.. I need to tell you something about what I'm feeling..” The fae said and then shook her pelt, fluffing up her fur. After a moment or to, it fell back down to its original shape. Lifting her muzzle to his ear, she whispered, “I have feelings for you. I want to be with you, forever until the day I pass.” Lowering her muzzle down so it was in its original stance, she smiled, just a little. The tip of her tail thumped against the snow making a little noise, but not noticeable to Crow.
