Amethyst trotted around in a meadow with long, dry grass. She started to graze a bit, though it didn't taste s good. It was the best she could find. Her ears twitched to the sound of a hawk, but that didn't bother her. She walked a little bit, still grazing. She felt as if something was going to happen, but she knew that nothing would.

Gypsy galloped towards a small lake with ice cold water. She bent down and took many gulps of it, but she knew she had to continue walking. She snorted a little bit when she saw that there was no green grass, but she knew it was like that for a little while. She didn't like how long it took to get the fresh, green grasses back.
