Rango looked around at the beautiful blue sky, but he quickly got distracted by the sound of an insect. He crawled through some short trees, trying to see where the sound came from. He soon saw a grasshopper, big enough to fill him for the day, flying around in he air. He stalked it until he was nearly a foot away. When the bug landed, he suddenly jumped to it, snatching it. He chewed on the kill gratefully, and when he was done making it soft, he started to gulp it down whole. Rango turned around and hid inside a bush when he heard the caws of a bird.

Laying over a boulder, absorbing the trickling rays of sunlight, a Blue Crested Lizard basked happily. His eyes darted from shrub to shrub as he tasted the air with his tongue. Quiet... Arrow thought with a hint of worry. He raised his deep blue body and crawled forward. The songs of crows echoed into his ear holes, bringing fear through his frail body. "Crows." Arrow hissed sourly and scampered out of sight.

She clung to the bark of a large oak tree with her pertruding claws, a Gold Dust Gecko lifted her head. An ominious croak came from her throat as she called out. One...two...three. Kitana's calls slowly died away."Why can't I find anyone?" The female gruffed with softened eyes. I have not seen a lizard for a while now- The green gecko's thoughts were smothered by the caws of crows, passing overhead. Kitana gluped to the sounds and ducked her body closer to the bark of the tree. It was not much cover, she knew, but running now would be suicide. "Ugh."
