"G'night Simiko." I say. I walk around for a bit. Everyone seems occupied. I decide to go check on Rome. "Hey Rome, do you need anything. I see you out yourself I'm charge of everyone. You didn't have to do that, you know." I tell him, even though I'm very glad he is taking up that position. The others seem to be fine with it as well, if not relieved like I am. He looks around for a second before sitting down. "No, Tessy. You're doing just fine." He sighs. He looks exhausted but I don't think he wants to sleep yet, otherwise he would've. There are others still up, chances are he will talk to them before settling down for the night. I'm not very tired at the moment, distressed, but still full of adrenaline from earlier. "You know Rome, I could stay up. There's nothing too problematic now is there?" He shakes his head no, "I wouldn't mind your company, but there's still things I need to plan and such. Can't sleep yet, kitty." He calls me kitty instead of little sister, or something like that because we aren't really related. Just seems like it. "Well alright. I'll be back in a bit. I'm going to see if anyone awake needs to talk or wants some company." Rome smiles and rolls his eyes at me, teasing, he says "Yea, you're always doing that aren't you?"

Jett listened to them but sat down and watched the snow falling down, it was now a blizzard.

I laugh at Rome's comment as I walk away. A breeze enters the cave, ruffling my fur. I tremble a little, too cold for my liking, really. I poke my nose out of the entrance and my black snout quickly becomes white and cold with snow. I retreat to the middle of the cave and sit. Ears flattened and pouting, I shake my head attempting to remove the freezing substance from my nose. Rome begins to crack up, "Oh shut it!" I say jokingly as I stick out my tongue. I can pout if I so please, watch me.

She had put her head down to fall asleep when she heard Rome and Tessa talking, they had a great relationship, they were very fun to see together. She saw her nose covered in snow, pouting, while Rome was laughing at her. Shasta giggled a bit but quietly not to embarrass Tessa. She looked at Rome, he was still stressing himself to make sure the others were calm. She stood up and walked over to him, she gently nuzzled behind his ear. "Cmon Rome get some rest, you need it more than anybody. Everybody seems okay enough to sleep for the night. Don't forget how tough we are. We can pull a sled through freezing cold snow for weeks, we can last one night in a warm cave." She said calmly to him, she pawed his shoulder insisting he relax and sleep, she felt he really deserved it.

His caramel gaze traversed the other dogs gathered as he sat quietly. He was quite a social animal but currently he was just enjoying watching the others. He was the observant type after all, if he was needed he would be there, but he was content with staying put for now. He had a gentle smile on his face and a warm heart in his chest. He truly loved his job, pulling the sled with the other dogs. It was a joy that he could not find words to describe. Just the feeling of running, stretching his limbs, feeling the wind in his fur. Ah...It was truly amazing. His tail even wagged at the thought. Whenever the harnesses came out he felt the excitement building, ready to explode from his large bodice. It never did, obviously. He expressed this by not being able to stand still, and by jumping around like a pup. Hey, what dog didn't like this job? If there were any out there they were crazy.

She nuzzled Rome one more time and noticed Tron was sitting alone watching everybody, he seemed happy but he was alone. She walked up to him and playfully nipped at his shoulder fur. "Hey Tron, are you doing well?" She asked kindly and concerned. She didn't know exactly how he felt about what happened today but knew however he felt he was handling it very good, on the outside at least. She glanced back at Rome and smiled at him, she wanted to make sure he got some good sleep tonight for it was going to be a big day tomorrow, hunting for food.
