Fleck whined, confused as she realized their musher wasn't coming out of the ice. She pinned her black ears to her head, ice blue eyes scanning the dogs around her fearfully. When one of the lead dogs pressured them forwards, she followed, eager to get away from the death spot of their Musher.

Koda started to push forwards, signaling that they should move on. The bad thing about still being in the harness was that Koda needed cooperation from others to start running. Roughly he pushed Rome to the side, showing he was still the 'best' and wisest lead dog so he wouldn't fight back when Koda moved forward.

He huffed as he got pushed by Koda. Dude, chill. We know you're the oldest, but let's not forget I'm stronger. We're equals on this team. We're lead, I know how that works. Rome doesn't dislike Koda, but his cockiness an get on his nerves sometimes. They get along pretty well actually, but Rome is more about taking care of everyone while Koda seems more intent on dominance. Rome looks over his shoulder, "Okay guys, we have to move out, we have no choice." He tells the pack sadly. Despite their best efforts, saving their owner was not possible. "Is everyone alright?"

Tessa
She whines a little. Lucky her spot is one spot behind Rome. They're not related but he taught her a lot and they take care of each other. She trusts the lead dogs so she gestures her head for the others to follow. The sled is a lot lighter now so they're mostly pulling their own weight, but she knows that everyone will get hungry eventually, and she may have to chew through this harness in order to take what's left of the food from the backpack on the sled.
