(One of your horses can run into Petra c: she's just out in the meadow, grazing)

Petra grazed by herself, her eyes scanning the area carefully for any signs of other horses. The bay raised her head, swished her tail and shook out her mane before lowering it to continue nibbling on the green grass. It was spring, mares were giving birth and going into heat and stallions were protecting and fighting over mares. She was interested in a herd, and knew that one was needed to survive. She didn't like to be by herself, and hoped that the stallion she did join was nice. For now she just grazed, calm yet alert in case something jumped out at her.

Fauna trotted around the field looking for some company. She spotted Petra in the distance and went into a canter. She reached Petra quicker than if she trotted. "Hello!" Fauna greeted.

Hearing something coming towards her, Petra's ear flicked and the mare lifted her head to see who was approaching. It was Fauna, a lone mare by the looks at it. She seemed friendly, and Petra didn't mind having some company. "Hello." She greeted, a small smile on her face. "Who are you?"

[bambi-loon]

"My full name is Fauna of the Forest," Fauna replied. "But please call me Fauna! who are you?"

[Blumenkranz]

"It's nice to meet you." Petra nickered, giving her scented tail a swish. She was happy to have found another horse, she didn't like to be by herself. There was safety in numbers, and when she was alone she felt vulnerable. "My name is Wings of Freedom." She introduced herself, giving Fauna her full name as that is what the other mare did. "Though you can just call me Petra."

Quintus hadn't expected Melody to kick him, so when her hooves were suddenly near his face he attempted to quickly move his head and avoid them. Her hooves grazed him, and when Melody began to move he lowered his head again. He knew that some mares just didn't like being snaked, but he didn't think much of it. Eventually they had reached a new place, away from the lake. Quintus would have liked to say there, but he didn't want to a around that older stallion. He didn't know if Nightmare would have wanted to take Melody or not, but he didn't want to risk it. Once in the shade of the tree he slowed to a halt and shook out his mane. He checked their surroundings briefly, seeing they were safe he looked back to Melody, who was not in a very good mood right now. Did she not like snaking that much. He thought about giving her some space, though reconsidered it when the draft mare swished her tail as spread the scent that made stallions go crazing. He hesitated for a moment, though decided to come over even though Melody probably was just going to kick him in the face if he tried asking. He began to walk towards the mare, his ears pricked and facing her.

"Nice to meet you to, Petra!" Fauna replied cheerifully. "I haven't met anyone yet, I was getting lonely."

[Blumenkranz]

"Ah, same here." Petra nickered. The mare was not apart of a band or was traveling with other mares, but not she was with Fauna. "I did have a herd, but something happened to my stallion so I had to leave." She added, flicking her tail to get rid of an annoying bug. She was by herself for awhile, but now Fauna was here. The draft mare was hoping that they could perhaps travel together, she would rather be with someone else than on her own.

[bambi-loon]

"Oh," Fauna said. "Hey, mind if I tag along with you?"

[Claw.]

{Oh god sorry for my absence guys, i had this four night show over the weekend and two days before that, then on Monday i had guides, then the rest of the week i have been catching up on school and homework but I'm ready to get my head in the game and role play so i will need a recap and i have also created to more horses, a stallion and a mare on the front page so if you want to role play with them you are more than welcome.Thank you}

the mare looked towards missy, pinning her ears slightly. when she noticed the mare had a foal as well, her ears perked upwards and she looked towards nightmare. he was charging at her. her ears pinned flat against her head, she reared up in the water. when landing with a splash, she turned to see quintus. her ears perked forward again, but saw him turn around and snake his mare away. gambler had already ran off to meet nightmare, playfully nipping his shoulder. bailey began walking upwards, approaching missy. it was better to establish who was lead mare sooner than later. with a dominant nip to missy, she pawed the ground, ears flat once again. the gypsy was twelve years old, and assuming she was older than missy, she would earn the rang of lead mare.

bailey left no room for further discussion, and with a toss of her head, she turned away, moving towards gambler as she wanted to watch over him. she nipped nightmare`s hindquarters lovingly. seeing gambler liked him, she had no problem with accepting nightmare as her band stallion, as long as gambler liked him and he was kind to herself.
