clove grinned at nayru as she ran along beside her. "the new herbalists." clove said. "well, there's erienne, who's three. she's a young wolf, and cheerful too." clove smiled. "and then there's obi. he's very calm and quiet- and he's the youngest of us five. he's only two- can you imagine being two having a serious rank like that?" clove shook her head wonderingly. "i sure wouldn't be able to do it. aleera's not very new. she became a herbalist right after the heat wave." clove finish, sighing. "there's so many now, but thank goodness that's the fact. the two of us last year could hardly stand it."

Hopping up onto a rock, Kody lay down and watched over the pack. It was much easier to watch everyone that get involved with being social. He let out a yawn then stretched his back upwards then slunk back down and contently watched everyone.



Roland - Male - Hunter - Tagged; Anyone.
When Roland had finally woken up a bit more, he got to his feet and looked around at everyone. He let out a bit of a sigh and then walked across towards the pack. "Is there going to be a hunt today?" he requested and sat down. He shook out his thick scruffy pelt then scratched behind his ear with his back right paw.


Sadies - Female - Omega - Tagged; No-one
Sadies looked around at the pack, everyone seemed so happy and content, she figured there was little she was going to be needed for and being an omega meant she was pretty useless anyway. She got to her feet and stealthily began to move away out and into the forest. As she got a bit further away from the pack, she relaxed a little and looked around. Spotting a squirrel in the distance, the she-wolf suddenly perked up her ears and lifted her head. There was a moment of frozen silence before she suddenly growled and bounded playfully towards it. The creature saw her coming and raced up a tree, Sadies wagged her tail like a puppy and bounded up and down at the tree whining, it was a fun game.

"Wow, I've never known anyone to be so young and have such a serious rank!" She shook her head in wonder, it was kind of demotivating. But pushing that aside she nodded along with what Clove was saying, her smile growing wider as she went. "That's wonderful, with that many herbalists this year should be plain sailing! And hey, after this I might even be able to gather herbs more often if you ever need an extra set of paws!" Nayru found it sweet, how involved Clove was with all the other herbalists, but then again she wasn't sure if that was normal for a pack wolf or not. She wasn't that close with any of the Omega's.... Perhaps she'd have to rectify that.

Icy rolled her eyes and growled back at him playfully. "Oh please I'm not lead guard for nothing." She said as she stood up straight and turned her back to him also closing her eyes. "And to make it fair I'll even give you the first shot at me." She said her voice full of confidence in her abilities. Normally she wasn't this playful...well she was never this playful since she had escaped her last pack and had been a very serious wolf. Well she didn't worry about her sudden change in attitude as she had to focus on sparring but maybe this pack was making her more open.

"I know, I know - I don't doubt it."He simply smirked in her direction, letting out a quiet laugh, before readying himself. Hmm, the first shot. He didn't wish to jump in and act too seriously, they were only sparring after all. And besides he hadn't actually seen her fight - at least not recent enough to remember what kinds of manoeuvres she pulled. He made a quick decision and sprung forwards. He sent a bite in the direction of her front legs and chest, wishing to see if she'd dodge and how so. He hadn't had the opportunity to spar so openly since his last pack, and he was welcoming the buzz it brought him.

"you're right, nayru. I just hope there isn't another heat wave- it's dangerous for the pups and apprentices, and even the young wolves. it's getting more risky, now that it's the summer season." clove replied. stopping to look around, clove looked at nayru. "almost there." clove said, starting up the pace again. clove sighed and wondered if the herbalists were meeting again tonight. she hoped not. it was hard to remember all those facts about the other wolves. it was quite stressful, for she didn't like sticking out in the pack- it probably wasn't normal for her to know this much about her fellow pack members.

Icy decided to play defensive and simply side stepped katsu sending him flying behind her. She would just let him attack her until he tires himself out. "Is that the best you can do? Well I must say I expected more from you." She smirked sitting down this time. "Come on i want you to come at me full force. Don't be scared to scratch my so called pretty face. I've taken lots of hits before."

I wake up with a jolt as I sneeze, looking around I let out a yawn.Everybody else is probably already awake, while I'm here all letting the day pass me. Getting up in my warm dry den, I take a peek outside and immediately wish I was still asleep. Groaning, I stretch forward, my hunches up in the air inside my den while my upper half was out in the cool morning sun. Letting out a yawn I lay back down on and rest my head on top of my front paws. Today's going to be a long day. I think, with a finally huff and a jump I fully get out of my cave and randomly wonder about trying to see what today has in store for me.

Closing my eyes, I inhale the scent of the morning dew that was just about disappearing from the forest along with other forest smells. Opening my eyes I let out a huff of air as I stretch my back and shake my coat. I know I shouldn't just sneak off like this, but I'm never truly sneaking off. I make sure the Alpha knows that I am stepping off. Most of the other pack members don't mind me since I'm just a simple Omega. Not even worth their looks. As I let out a frown, I see something jump in the corner of my eye and I slowly look over grinning. I shouldn't be gloomy and just chase a small bite to eat. I doubt anyone will be looking, and if they are I'll just have to give them my rabbit if they're higher rank. I crouch down with my hunches slightly in the air and charge at the unsuspecting rabbit.

Yawning, I loop up surprised that most of my pack members are awake and about. Getting up sheepishly I step out side of my den and into the cool summer morning. At least I hadn't woken up extremely late. I stretch my back before walking up to where some other members had been together and I over hear one of the hunters ask if there was going to be a hunt today. At the thought of a hunt my mouth starts to water and I lightly wag my tail behind me. Since I was smaller than most wolves in the pack I backed down from becoming a hunter or a fighter since we had plenty and even though I was good at both, being fast and nimble, I didn't like running. You could say I was a bit lazy.

As the squirrel ran across the top of the trees, Sadies ran after it, jumping up and down as she did and growling playfully. As the squirrel got out of sight, Sadies jumped on the next best thing, a pine cone. Throwing it up into the air and pouncing on it playfully. Sadies was happiest on her own.

"Mm it can be quite distressing. I'll keep an eye on everyone - and tell you if I see anything I believe to be amiss." She quickly thought back to everyone she had seen earlier that morning, and was happy to note than none of them had seemed sickly, if she remembered correctly. With a smile she yipped, "Yippee! I'm super pumped to see this bit of the forest now! Since even this area seems unfamiliar..." It was strange to think she could've missed this place so easily... Yet there was something nagging her about this place...

He flipped in mid-air, meaning he would not go hurtling into a tree. It also saved him precious seconds that would've been spent re-orientating himself before hand where he could've been struck. He wasn't surprised at how easily she had dodged that, he had just been testing something after all. "Only seeing your reactions sweetie, don't worry - I won't hold back any longer." He cocked his head to the side as a smile lit up his face. "Your turn."
