Shadow backed from the fencing and flicked an aud as he sharpened to catch the light steps of a human. Reacting with caution, the stallion retracted from the fence and galloped away, back towards the grounds where he would usually stay. Inhaling heavily Shadow vowed to not go back there until night time.

I turned away suddenly bored. My ears twitchd. I looked back seeing those weird things coming towards me. They looked weird. I didn't know if they were safe or not. I whipped around dash I into the cover of the wilderness.

Shadow swatted his tail at the pesky fly's that buzzed at his rear, he snorted heavily and trotted around realizing that they followed him every where he went. He pinned his ears back and bent on his fore knees as he gently landed on the ground gazing up at the sky and returning to his chest chewing it.

I scratching my left cheek on a tiny tree. Ohhhhh.... That felt good. I snorted shaking my head, my mane flying out in all directions. I kicked the ground stirring the dirt. I went under a tree to cool off a little. Stupid flies, messing with me. I swatted them with my long tail. Eat that...

The lone brute galloped down the outstretched plains, in the mood for a small adventure. He spotted a small figure ahead and traveled to it, halting to a hard stop, as he shredded grass from his hooves. He took in the scent of the mare and walked up towards her, his long curly locks obscuring his face. "Salutations, I go by the name of Shadow." Shadow was unsure of what this was going to end up too be, but he started to feel good about it.

I looked over hearing as voice. A tall stallion stood before me black as night. I peered at him closely, his long curly mane covered his face. “Well nice to meet you Shadow.." I started.with me being an outcast all the time, the other horses hardly talk to me. They mingle around and gossip thinking that my news is boring as manure. So it felt different using my voice again. It came out a bit rusty, but I was able to finish. “Im Talligan." With each word. My voice became clearer and its usual soft tone.

"Hmm, amazing name Talligan, very unqiue" he nickered softly to the mare, "May I ask, do you run along with herds, I must assure that your lead is not watching me." he chuckeled and flicked his large cranium, causing his forelock to fly in the motion and allow his orbs to be seen.

A little surprised at his compliment, I managed to stammer, “T-thank you." I flicked my tail at his next question. “No.. Not really." I snorted. “Im more of an outcast to them. That's why I'm so far from the group." I pointed out nodding my head to the groups of horses a few paces away. “Its fine." I nickered. “They hardly pay attention to me. So they probably will ignore you too."

"Very well," He sighed as he looked over at the group, "Hey, have you ever tried humans grass!" He flicked his aud affectionately as his mind dozed off into a sweet grass realm. "Man in the morning its the best, crisp, fresh, just watered, and sweet!" he snorted stamping his hoof excited. "Well enough with that." the brute's cheek felt warm as he realized his colt play and gentled down becoming more mature. "So, have you?" He replied in a deep tone

I shook my head. “No... There is dew on the grass in the morning... Or they use those weird snake like things that spit out water to get the grass all wet and green." I suggested realizing my own mouth was beginning to water. “But... No. I haven't." I answered. I was always cautious while I was near these so called humans. They're everywhere, I never get the chance to try the grass or the strange looking stuff in the buckets inside the wooden structure. I would sometimes venture into the structure looking around when the fence had been left open.
