Ramen saw the girl and neighed out to her, wanting attention. The stable hands had been cleaning him and such but he wanted 1x1 mental stimulation to keep his brain occupied. He had started pulling at the wooden doors with his teeth and kicking the bottom to draw attention to himself in the hope for some love.

At the sound of Lauren's scream, Caleb lept onto Grazie and kicked her into a gallop down the trail. "Lauren!" He quickly pulled Grazie up and leaned down to help the girl up.

Nicole didn't flinch. She held her ground, even daring to take a tiny step toward the stallion.

Caleb picked Lauren up and set her across Grazie's back, then climbed onto his mare. Carefully as he could while holding Lauren, Caleb rode Grazie down the trail after the fresh hoof prints.

Lauren)
Every little bit, Lauren would wake up for a few seconds, saying either Caleb or Nemo. "Caleb," she said "I..I...l-l-l-i-i-i-k-k-k-e you" She then passed out once more.

Nemo)
Nemo continued to gallop down the path. He made a sudden right turn into the forest. He reared and called a shrill whinny.

"Shhh..." Caleb cooed. Grazie now followed Nemo without Caleb's aid. She gave a welcoming whinny to Nemo.

Caleb just nodded and grabbed his rope as Nemo came into view. Quicky, he threw the rope over the stallion's head and tied the rope to his saddle horn. Slowly, his picked his way down the narrow trail.

Jinn rubbed the mares nose and gently slipped her bridle on, then holding the reins so she couldn't tangle her legs in them put the saddle on and began to tighten the girth.
