herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Sara
I parked my pickup and got out grabbing my suite case from the bed. And I made my way to my room. I went back to the barn to checking things out.

Tide
The driver pulled into the driveway and went looking for someone to get the animal off the trailer. Tide was standing in a cattle trailer heavily sedated. With him being sedated he would be flipping out and hurting himself inside the trailer.

Nicole dismounted Tailgating when she saw a guy walking around. The big stallion was ground tied so he wouldn't budge. The lanky girl made her way over to the man, "May I help you?"

Lauren kicked her stallion up into a gallop. His stride lengthened, her hair flowing in the wind. She held her head up to the sky, the wind hitting her face. She raced up beside Caleb and yelled "Where should we go?"

"Just follow us," Caleb smiled and turned Grazie down a narrow trail, well beaten by many horse's hooves. Willow trees hung over the path and you couldn't see much more than 10 feet in front of you, but Caleb knew these trails like the back of his hand. He grew up racing Grazie down these trails. Eventually, he pulled his spotted mare up so she walked briskly along. The trail was now wide enough for two horses to walk together.

Lauren)
"So, what's new with you and Grazie?" she asked him. She shook her long blonde hair out. It was very knotted from their gallop. She ran her fingers thought it before turning back to Caleb. She looked around before seeing Caleb's eyes. They were a beautiful hazel color. She starred for a minute, but then she snapped back to reality.

Tide
The man looked down at her. "Yeah, I have a horse that is being delivered here." He said pointing to the trailer. "He's on death row."

Caleb shrugged, "Nothin' much." He patted her white shoulder and she gave a nicker, "Same 'ol, same 'ol. How 'bout you two?"

Nicole gave a nod, "Yes, back the trailer up to that roundpen," She pointed to a large roundpen with very high fences. This was the pen where all rescues spent their first hours on the farm. Nicole walked over to the pen and opened the gate, waiting for the truck.

Lauren) (They would be a good match for each other :))
"Not much, my long distance relationship just ended, so that sucks, but other than that, not much." she said to him.

Tide
The driver back the truck into the pen. Then open the door of the trailer.he opened the small door up by the stallion's head. Who was coming to his scenes. Tide pinned his ears at the man. But the guy had him untied from the trailer. Tide bolted our of the trailer, galloping across the pen away from the humans he watched carefully. The man pulled the truck out from the pen
"Sign here. Someone from the BLM will come by in a few weeks to see how he's coming. They aren't giving you much time to work with him. I guess he's a real nasty one to train. " He said.
