Angel
"Well, Oscar, if you want to make friends, I'm ready to go." She said, jumping to her feet "You coming? But just to let you know, your doing all the talking" Angel said, grinning at her brother and heading out the cave.

Oscar
"Oh yes! I would love to make a friend!" He said jumping to his feet, then racing after his sister "but if something is strange we return to mother." He added, looking up at the trees with his big brown eyes.

[Tri_San]

Russ watched the clearing after the young gatherer had wandered off in a similar direction as Mark. Still and silent he listened softly to the drizzel and enjoyed the peace of the morning a little longer. However the orchestra of rain drops soon was interupted by the off key pitter patter of paws scurrying out of the pup den. The tod's soft eyes traced along the horizon till he saw the two pups dart out into the damp morning air. It was no doubt their parents were not far behind but just in case he stepped out into the clearing between den sites and while keeping a distance he greeted the pups with a low yip "Up and full of energy as ever" he called out to them then looked to the mouth of their den to see if their parents were watching. Ever the social fox he never passed up a chance to interact with the other members.

After her drink Ditta took off using roots and dropped branches that she knew by heart to keep her coat as mud free as possible. Starting her rounds she scouted for any signs of movement. Her stomach already growled at her like a hungry pup to be fed. With the others waking soon as well food would have to start arriving soon. The day before she scouted a few mouse dens and figured today was perfect to see if they were washed out. A busy mouse was a distracted mouse. She licked her maw at the thought and soon had the first mud filled hole staked out.

Oscar heard a voice talking to his sister and himself, they slowed down to a walk, "Oh yes, we are full of energy!" He said, panting "I'm Oscar and this is my sister, Angel" Oscar introduced them "What's your name?" He asked.

Angel looked at her brother "Don't you think we should see what the fox or whatever animal it is looks like?" She asked. She watched her brother shake his head as he ran to meet the voice.

[Vlette]

Vlette was set down by Mark infront of the Nursery den. She wiggled her nose and sneezed at the small patricles of wheat attempting to get into her nose.. "Here you go Nina and Mist" Vlette murmered with the mouthful of dried up bedding. She helped up the mothers and nudged the wheat and dried grass, she had suprisingly gathered enough to keep the tired Vixens dry. Vlette smiled and nodded before happily sprinting out of the den, nearly tripping on a root heading face first into the pond.
"Gotcha" Mark muttered, quickly he had hold of her scruff.
Vlette looked up at him and flattened her ears, she nodded before Mark softly padded over towards the healers den and set her down next to Russ
Vlette shakily looked up at Mark and she wiggled her nose, if the small vixen had a tail you would see it would be tucked inbetween her legs.
Mark shook his head. "Come here" he muttered groggily and he layed down.
Vlette pointed her head to the side but did as she was told and sat infront of him
Mark layed his maw over her so she would lay down and relax while he groomed her. A simple gesture right? No one would know that he still loved her..

Mist ran around the corner and nearly ran straight into Vlette (if that's her name sorry if it isn't), Mist dug her claws into the ground and stopped just a few centimetres away from Vlette and Mark. "Sorry!" She shouted running again, past them "Looking for my pups!" She called. She ran around another corner and Wham! She ran into her mate. "What are you doing out her, Alex?" She asked her mate. "I'm looking for the pups." She said, staring at him.

Alex "I'm looking for the pups too." He said, "did you find them yet?" He asked.

Mist "No I haven't even seen a single pup!" She exclaimed. She said good bye then carried on looking for the pups.

Angel "Oscar stop it!" Came a voice in the distance.

Oscar "No this is fun!" Came another voice.

Mist Ran off in the direction of the voice.

Alex Followed.

Ross barely moved as he watched the mornings shenanigans unfold, ever a smile on his maw as he enjoyed the peace that was provided by their muck surrounded home. However, as the pups drew near introducing themselves he noticed just how young the really were. Standing he padded over to meet the riled up pups leaning down to nuzzle them each in turn. "Well it is nice to meet you both. I'm Russ, one of the healers" he tried to use his tail to help coral the pups while they played. Ears up and snout to the air as he sniffed for any sign of their parents. The instant his ears caught hurried foot falls he called out "Over here" knowing if it was the vixen mother that she was probably very worried. Glancing down he quickly snapped Oscar up by his scruff to keep him from wandering off and set him down in front of himself then did the same with his sister while he waited for their parents.

Russ had noticed his helpers fumbles but they only amused him. He was patient and understood her struggles. He would never say it but he worried for the vixen, every time she went out to gather was always a chance something would take her away from them for good. At least she had Mark around to keep an eye out for her.

[Vlette]

Vlette was sprawled over Marks front paws, enjoying the small little treatment he was giving her, she layed her muddied paws over his face as a saying of a playful "Thank you".
Mark shook her paws off his face and sneezed. He hated mud and he hated nothing more than the taste of it, nevertheless he loved Vlette and having an excuse to groom her for the day without her being paranoid a spider was in her fur..
Mark chuckled to himself and stood up "Ill be right back" He said groggily. The large tod stood up and walked over to the pond, washing out the filth he had collected from Vlettes pelt.
"You know" Vlette said, "I could allways wash myself of in the pond and you could groom off whats left" The small Vixen said with a smile. Mark gave out a long sigh and picked her up by her scruff, "hold ur breaff" He tried to mutter. Vlette dook a deep breath and Mark dunked her down into the water for a few seconds before he pulled her back up.
Vlette took a deep breath and pawed off the water in her eyes, she still had alot of mud on her but it was atleast a little easier to gst off...
Mark set her dosn again and he cleaned off her face and carefully so she could see and breathe a bit better.
Vlette opened her good eye a bit more and looked up at him. He was sticking his nose in her neck as a sign of affection but then continuied on grooming her, Vlette thought nothing of it.

Mist ran up to the stranger fox. "Oh thank you!" She said, taking Angel by the scruff. "They should know better than wandering off that far." She said looking at the pups in an annoyed way.

Alex he followed his mate and picked Oscar up by the scruff "Thank you." He said, turning away.

[Tri_San]

Russ smiled at the two parents and nodded his head at the thank yous before he perked up his ears. "They are adorable pups, I'm sure your both proud" he complimented but as the couple headed back for the den he sighed and moved to the waters side for a drink then shook out the water that still fell on his fur.

Ditta's patience paid off and a plump little mouse returned to the washed out hole. Her breathing slowed as she hid in the nearby grass. The second the mouse began to dig she sprung up and came down on the critter with enough force to kill it on impact. Picking it up she burried the mouse to hide its scent and over the next our caught 4 more. Gathering the 5 mice of various sizes by the tails she made her way back to the den sites and found her way to the center. Dropping the mice she looked round and spotted the Todd and Vixen and rolled her eyes. "Wow Mark..caught yourself a lady?" she asked with a snicker "Shouldn't you be hunting for things we can eat though..hmm?

[Vlette]

Vlette yawned and looked up at the Vixen. "Arent you supposed to wait to catch any prey on our territory, you have to have someone with you incase you get into trouble... and I would expect you out of anyone here to need someone" she muttered unter her breath.
Mark let out a loud cackle and he cleaned her ears before nudging Vlette on to tend for Elder silver. She swiped a few of Dittas mice and ran over into the den of the elder fox.
"Hello Elder Silver" Vlette said, her ears pirked and her pelt smelled of Marks tounge.
Elder Silver gave a slight smile as he tried to pick himself up. His skin hung from his fragile bones and his eyes looked tired. He had many teeth missing and needed the bones taken out from the small bits of meat he ate.
As Vlette stripped the mice of their bones and fur, she felt Elder Silver looking upon the camp.. his hazed over eyes were gazing out into the rolling fog.
"Vlette, my dear" He whispered, "I need for you to choose someone quickly... for my time is coming in soon..." He whispered in a cackled tounge.
"No.. sir you cant think like that... im sure you will be here for years longer!" Vlette gave herself a reassuring nodd..
The elder shook his head and looked over at her. "Vlette, my dear..." He whispered, "I know you will choose wisley"
Without another word, the old fox turned and headed towards the back of his cave, leaving the stripped mice and Vlette alone with the strong fog rolling into the camp..

Mark let out a sigh once Vlette left, he layed his head on his long paws and layed his ears flat. "Ditta.. I know your probably not the one I should be telling this but I do love her....." Mark whispered, The tom sighed again and put his tail between his legs as he sulked into the hunters den.
