➳ Juliette kept her eyes staring at my feet. "Cian, there's a reason I run. There's many reasons. I can't stay because every time I get close someone ends up dead or runs away. Which is why I'malways the one running." She said softly as she bit into her lip trying to suppress the terrible memories.

Cian huffed a sigh, wishing his mother was here. She would know what to say, she was just like Juliette when she was younger. He shook the thought away and responded, "That's life. We die. Someone running away is just them being a bad soul. You just have to accept it, don't run from it. I promise it works out." He told her. He couldn't prove it to her, all he could do was hope she would believe him.

➳ Juliette looked up slightly. "I'm not joining any packs... I csnt,." She murmured softly looking up fully as she wished that she had just never continued north after the second pack.

Cian tilted his head. "That's up to you. I'm not here to pry into your person life. But if you want to talk, then do. Because I'm here to listen." He said, sitting back down. He wasn't sure what he was getting himself into, but he didn't care at this point.

➳ Juliette finally finished off the long story told that she had been explaining as pain, betrayal and invisible tears lined her eyes. She bit into her lip harder as she finished off. "One of the brutes that attacked me was my father." She said in dismay a pain was clearly evident in her voice.

Cian nodded. He wasn't sure what to say, or how to comfort her, so he let it be. He decided to relate, instead. "My father left us on and off, tormenting my mother. My step father tried to kill me." He informed her, so she knew he somehow felt her pain. He shrugged. "You're not alone, here, Juliette."
