Maya sat with Koda, on the side of the trail, as a small puppy and an older pug walked up to them. Maya suddenly began worrying about who they were. But Koda seemed happy, so she kept her mouth shut.

Koda began wagging his tail as he noticed Faith and Gizmo walked up to them.

Faith ran to Koda, barking happily, ignoring the pit bull beside him.

Gizmo watched Faith break into a run and slowly walked, following her. He knew their owners never cared if they saw Koda, but who was this new dog beside him?
