Carmen sighed and shrugged to herself. "May as well go hunting," she whispered. She stood up and trotted out of camp, toward the border of pack territory. Carmen sniffed around, searching for scents of prey. But instead of the smell of prey, what reached her nose was the smell of a couple of other dogs,. She hesitated, then followed the trail briskly.
