Aztec flinched just listening to the conversation. He sighed, his ears pinning. He cast a cautious glance over at Imani, and immediately felt bad for her. He wanted to comfort her and tell her everything would be alright, but that would be like yelling their secret to the skies for everyone to hear.

I glance back towards the den I had just come from and decide to let her odd behaviour slip. As much as I enjoyed getting into other's lives, I feel that now is not the time to bring it up. Instead, I respond to the pride leader's question. "Birth Pride." My answer is curt as I force myself to look away from him. "Father wasn't so nice, threw me, my mother and siblings out. Been wild and free for the rest of my life." I talk as if none of this matters to me, which is true. The history is simply that, history and nothing more. It can't always shape what I'll do for the rest of my life.

Aztec glanced over at the medicine den wearily, noticing Ezio looking into the den. He nervously lowered his head, his ears twitching in the slightest as he set his head down on his paws. He was secretly listening to the conversation closely, making sure Ezio wasn't beginning to suspect something.

"I know I should have just ignored it." I say I realize that I had overreacted and needed to just stay calm," hey how did you get out of your pride? Was there anything bad or did you just come of age?" I ask I was very curious about this male lion.

"Well a little bit of both. I did come of age but just before I did a challenged my father. Obviously not winning and being out casted. I escaped with my life and a few scars here and there" He replied to her question.

Imani's stomach rumbled, a great opportunity to get away from the crowded camp. She stood up and looked around, up to the roof, where a large hole with sunlight peering in was. She jumped up at the large, hole, rubble falling down. She scrambled up and stood on the top of the den for a moment, she hesitated, looking at Aztec for a long while, her stare lingering as she leapt to the next den's roof and then down, she padded through the grass, near Aztec and out of the camp.

Aztec twitched slightly when he watch Imani exit the den, exchanging a silent nod and a smile with her before watching her depart. The lion yawned, his claws flexing out of their sheathes.

Imani carried on striding through the long grass. She stopped to the slightest evidence of a Zebra. She raised her head to the air, scenting out the Zebra, she padded along, it was on its own.. Why? She flicked her ear and shook off the thought, it was small after all, but could still do some damage to Imani. She lowered herself into the grass, her pupils growing large, her eyes black with a golden outline. She flattened her ears, launching herself off her back legs, growling deeply, she opened her jaws to hiss and growl, she leapt onto the Zebra, but it kicked with its powerful hinds. Imani fell back, watching the Zebra turn tail and run, "Oh no you dont!" She growled, racing after the Zebra, she tackled at its hinds, eventually, turning a sharp corner and reaching its side, she threw herself at the Zebra, making her and the zebra hit the ground harshly, and the zebra ontop of her, she bit its neck, killing it as it sruggled ontop of her, she winced at the mere weight as it fell limp and struggled from beneath it. Not such a swift kill.
