Fern sighed.

Valius got up, padding out of his den.

Moon's eyes were wide with fear and she was trembling.

Valius frowned at the voice and padded forward. His eyes widened. "Zaius?!!"

Moon shook she stared at the tiger still not moving.

Valius and Zaius reached out with a paw and gave each other a one-armed hug. Valius smiled. "My dear friend, Zaius."

Fern's mouth was open. "...yeah...we've met him."

Moon stared she got up and started to run the other direction of them.

Zaius backed up, looking at the ground.
Valius glanced at Moon. "His father and brother were cruel," he added, then looked to Fern.
Zaius sighed. "Wait..." He fixed his gaze on Moon. "Is there any way I can make it up to you?"

Fern sat, tail curled.

Moon did not hear him and kept running. She stoped when the forest had hidden her and she lied on the wet ground.

Zaius sighed, sitting. He'd wait for her to come back.
