Clyde

Clyde saw the mares and foals flee, he pinned his ears back, without hesitation he let out a low-agressive neigh, snorting as he raced past Dante and Nike, he ran to the commotion, "Opposite direction!" Clyde yelled to Blue, but the riders had a different idea, as they knew where the herd was already. Clyde bit at the riders as they threw ropes at himself and Blue, he reared up, causing the rider's horses to take a step back, their bits pinching on their mouths.

Dante

Dante's ears pricked, "Nike.. Run!" He turned and looked around. He saw a rider run after a foal, grabbing at it, the foal collapsing to the ground. He leapt over and kicked the rider to the ground, quickly lifting the foal to its hooves, he looked around in panick, rearing partially off the ground, only to have a rope trap his hoof, he attempted to run but fell to the ground, breathing heavily, he kicked as he attempted to get to his hooves again but the rope got tighter.

Nike stayed towards the back of the mares, helping nudge the foals along that could barely keep up. She lifted her head and stopped for a moment to search for Dante and Clyde. Something thin and strong tightened around her neck, and then another, both pulling her to the ground. The young silver bay mare let out a piercing scream that filled the air, the mares and foals retreating to the woods successfully.

Clyde

"Hey! This ones from the Army!" One of the humans yelled, "Hes got the burn! See," He pointed to the words 'US ARMY' burnt into Clyde's rump. Clyde snorted and looked around to see the mares and foals vanishing into the woods, now worrying about the wolves.

Dante

Dante was partially choking from the tightness of a rope around his throat region. He breathed roughly, "Clyde! You need to go with thee herd, the mares and foals will need your support!" He coughed, wincing.

Aroura

Aroura managed to escape among the other mares, darting through the woods and into a huge well hidden clearing.

Nike layed on her right side, hoping the burn mark she had from the BLM wouldn't show. She whinnied weakly, almost choking on the rope as she stood up and flicked her tail.

Clyde

Clyde look at the two, Dante was right, the mares and foals would be hopeless without him, he pinned his ears back and jumped into the woods, running after them.

Dante

Dante knew it. This was it. He winced and looked at Nike, "Nike!" He yelled, struggling. "I need more ropes!" The humans grasped onto their ropes and tossed them over Dante. By now he had about 8 ropes around his hooves and neck, he was getting tired, fighting to his hooves, he collapsed onto his side, breathing heavily.

Nike felt a rider attempt to tie a rope around her face as a makeshift halter. She tossed her head away, but felt another rope tighten around her neck. And she was too tired to fight anymore. She gave in and looked at Dante with one of her glowing royal blue eyes, her forelock falling down the front of her face.

Blue

I rear, narrowly missing the first rope. I start to gallop to the clearing, when suddenly I am winded and I feel a snake like thing wrap around my neck. As I am pulled onto my side, more humans rush at me and get ropes around my legs. I shriek at them in both fear and anger.

Silver

I escape with the other mares and foals. I notice, if Dante, Clyde and Blue can't get back we will be taken by another Stallion because they are the only 3 in the herd

Clyde

Clyde met up with all of the mares and foals, he pinned his ears back, reassuring them, checking to see if anyone was missing.

Dante

Dante whinnied quietly to Nike, telling her it would be okay, but of course he didnt know for sure. Dante lay on the floor, almot panting, some humans came over and put a rope halter on him, then moved him to his hooves, removing the other ropes from them. He stood, his head low, he shifted to look at Nike, the humans trying to pull him away from her, he resisted, and instantly a sharp object was jabbed into his hind, he reared slightly, turning around, biting and stamping at the human. "Bring that mare! He wont shift!" One of the riders yelled.

Nike followed willingly, almost all her spirit having been almost completely lost at this point. The Gypsy mare felt her head tugged lightly by the rope halter, her white feathering tossing around her legs with each step.

Dante

Dante was tied to the horn of two saddles, he had two ropes attached to his halter and both were being tugged tightly. He lowered his head, pulling back, he stopped, backing up, but he was again jabbed with the sharp object, he snorted, turning his head and snapping whatever it was in two, he lashed his tail.
