Winter has settled across the great Yellowstone National Park. The packs had recently settled their differences but something is different about this winter. There is little food to go around and tensions are once again high between the packs. The alpha's will soon have to decide the fate of their packs, but will they lean together in the time of need? Or will the packs crumble with the snow? Will they find food in forbidden places or continue searching far out of the humans eyesight? It all depends on the choices of the Alpha's.

Pack Ranks
Alpha - Alpha is the leader and protector of his or her pack. The alpha's responsibility is to defend it pack and make decisions as well as keep all members happy, healthy and alive. Some; such as Pyro, have odd objectives or may rule in a rougher way. They Alpha is ultimately the decider of the packs overall demeanor. No matter the type of Alpha all wolves under the Alpha MUST respect him/her.
Beta - Beta is alpha in training. the Beta learns to lead the pack and has some command over lower members, Delta included. They are able to accept loners when the Alpha is nowhere to be found and are able to command hunts/patrols and can assign dens. They are NOT able to exile members unless given prior command or assigned. They are the trainers of the Delta. Just because you are a Beta does not mean you will get Alpha. Though you are Alpha in training, if the Alpha sees someone better fit, they may choose that person. You may lose your place if a new Alpha takes over.
Delta - Delta has no more power than a subordinate but is in training to become a Beta. They must respect the Beta as if the Beta were alpha. Same with Beta, you are not guaranteed Beta position.
Patrol - A patrol is responsible for marking territory and making sure there are no invading wolves. A Patrol is also a warrior, there is no difference.
Hunter - Responsible for hunting and feeding the pack. The Hunters must follow the lead hunter.
Scout - A scout goes on every patrol and hunt. They are responsible for watching for danger, and alerting the wolves when something comes up.
Medic - Essentially this is the doctor of the wolves.
Pup sitter - A pup sitter is the one who watches the pups when they are born. They are thrown into random positions when there are no pups.
Elders - Elders are respected for knowing more than others, having been alive longer than the Alpha even. Elder's are brought food, they are not required to leave camp.
Omega - The lowest ranking member, often a target for aggression.
Pups - the young members of a wolf pack, ranging from 1 day to 8 months. At 8 months pups are assigned to a den.
