The vixen giggled watching the little puppy scurry off in what she was guessing was the direction in which he had come. Her tail extended out behind her as she pushed herself down onto the chest and let her ears remain erect on her head. A flaw of hers, she trusted anyone who seemed to be honest, and right now she was putting her trust into a puppy. Yes, he may mean well, which she was sure he did, but she did not know this pack. Her eyes flicked down to her white padded paws and she sighed tucking one under her chest and letting her mind drift but ears alert to any noise. She waited.

He stood perfectly still almost as if a statue as if he liked the idea of this female looking him over, taking in his size, his marks, his hora, all about him being examined by a new face. And this time he did not mind looking back at this face. His ears flicked, perked, relaxed, twitched, and pivoted on his head listening for any other noise that was not either his or hers. His coat was ruffled by a breeze that blew through the trees as if kissing each leaf one by one, and his head tilted up taking advantage of the moment to scent the air. Nothing. Of course, except there he found it, the faint scent of their sure to be target. His eyes flicked back down to the vixen as he watched her body language change and a grin of her own expand along her face much like his own.
He chuckled once more and pondered over her comment. "My lady, you have but only barely grazed the surface of what I can astonish you with" He grins shaking his mixture of colors pelt left and right his thick pelt blowing and then relaxing against his body. "Do not tell me you fear the unknown? For what lies within it, is something you can not fear, for the unknown is but an adventure awaiting to be explored." He grinned once more winking at her before turning his eyes away knowing his pretty face comment got to her just by her body language she was itching, and it made him feel almost in-powered over the situation. But of course Sir Lucas was nothing less than a Gentleman. His ears perked and he nodded gently at her comment. "Your trust has been well placed." He grins glancing back at her in a sly manor before taking the lead.
His years of fighting pin pointed the pack and he knew where to take her, and where not to take her, but the task was clear. He would help this little lady get her meal, he would let her eat her fill and then he would allow her to do as she pleased. "Memorize this path well, if you choose to stay but not comrade along with the pack, this the safest path to accompany." He keeps his eyes locked forward ears erect and tail draped as if moving on a secret line to his goal.
