Zaliki smiled as she glanced at him "I am rather hungry." She remarked. She could feel her stomach grumble and was sure he could hear it, but she wanted more than anything to just lay here in the peace they had. It wouldn't last forever, so it might as well be now that they head back. "Shall we?" she asked calmly.

➺ Taigi felt rather guilty lugging him around the way that she did, considering it wasn't something he quite recognized. She noticed the way he had retreated from the meal and pondered for a moment before finally speaking. "You know we don't have customs on who eats first and when, by all means dig in. Please, I insist. The others will retrieve their own sections as they arrive." Her tone was sincere, she didn't want to make the brute feel so oddly uncomfortable as he was now part of the rather small family. She maintained a gleeful smile, her tail remaining lively as well, formulating the occasional flick near the tip. Her gaze laid firmly upon the brute as the rest of the gathering gradually wandered in.

➤ Zene couldn't help but grin, of course she was hungry, being as close as they were the brute could practically hear the faes stomach as if it were his own. He gradually raised to his limbs, stalling casually to have the contact remain for as long as he could but breaking it to let her elevate on her own as well. He peered down to her and responded in the same tone she had before, "After you."

✦ Orion's tail swished flimsily as he motioned his body out of the den and into stretch position, sliding his forepaws along the fresh mineral as a compact yawn escaped his muzzle. He advanced towards the undersized brute (Lighthouse) and questioned his presence, "Newcomer, eh?" His gaze narrowed as he commenced a survey, observing while he gingerly approached the meal to tear off venison for himself only to retreat a scarce number of steps and rest his silhouette.

➸ Zephyr came darting around the corner of a large pine, greeting the alpha female by weaving through her limbs, struggling in the beginning but inching his way towards the departed doe. He came to realize the unfamiliar scent of a wolf and pursued the aroma that lingered in the air, he peered over Taigi to reveal Lighthouse. Charing at the brute (Lighthouse) he elevated his petite frame into a slight hurdle, attaching himself to the brute. Growling in a playful fashion he proceeded to bite delicately at his front limb. "Who are you?!" His voice still rather nosey, he hadn't yet developed the deeper masculine tone of most brutes.

Lighthouse listened to Taigi, letting her words soak in. "Thank you," he said after a moment, "I appreciate your kindness." Rising to his paws, the brute stepped forward slowly, carefully squeezing in around the other wolves. Sinking his teeth into the shoulder of the fawn, Light pulled a hunk of meat off of the deer before taking a few steps back to eat. The wolf jumped slightly as Orion appeared beside him. Nearly gagging on the food in his mouth, Lighthouse swallowed quickly in order to answer the wolf. "Uh, yes..." he stuttered after awhile. Finishing his meal, the brute prepared to rise in order to thank Taigi once more when Zephyr came barreling towards him. Noting the pup, Lighthouse smiled lightly and remained in place. "Oof," the wolf exaggerated, rolling over as the young pup launched himself at him. Watching as the pup gnawed on his front leg, Light raised an eyebrow, struggling to hold in his laughter. "I'm Lighthouse," the wolf said, smiling at the pup, "And who might you be, little one?"

Zaliki got to her feet and shook out her fur, smiling over at him. She turned towards the dens, her eyes scanning the shrubs for any sign of prey. She paused and glanced over at him "We could hunt for the pack, if you think your up for it? There are dear down the way in the opposite direction." She motioned, her eyes glistening. She let her tail sway rhythmically behind her, waiting patiently for his decision.

A Glance At The Past

Adder was born into a pack by his now deceased parents. He was ostracized as he was the child of an Omega, something unusual within the pack he was a part of. He grew up being left out, bullied, and hated. When his mother gave birth to his younger siblings, only Ajaxx made it through the first three months of life, the others being killed by other pack members. The crime was unforgiven. Avalon, being the more rash one, made the decision to leave and Adder followed her lead, taking the three month old pup with them.
