Launa was stalking a squirrel, the first one she'd seen groundbound in days. She crept forward, her chocolate brown eyes focused. Her plumy golden tail swished slightly, quietly letting her brother Caster know to stop; she continued to creep forward, drooling slightly. Soon they'd be fed for the first time in days....

Caster stopped, knowing he had to be careful; at his size, a leaf could give them away. He froze, breathing as lightly as he could, but inhaling the scents the breeze carried; he smelled other wolves nearby... his golden eyes scanned the area, and his ears pricked up slightly.

Creamy sniffed the area. She smelled loners. She went behind a bush. She watched them, not making any noise at all, she continued watching them.

Launa motioned her tail forward slowly, and flicked her left ear then her right. Caster's massive bulk moved slowly, agonizingly slow... to cut off the squirrel's escape route. When he was in place, Launa struck; the squirrel ran right into Caster's large, strong, waiting jaws. Launa took the squirrel and cut it into two halves one slightly bigger than the other, but Caster wasn't paying attention; he'd heard something, and he surveyed the landscape ears up.

creamy stuck her head out of the bush. she hopped they were nice. they probally werent, but she wanted to just try. if they were mean, she would report it to the alpha.

"Hello, is something the matter? You don't have to hide," Launa said, stepping forward wagging her fluffy golden tail. Caster sat down, flexing his large claws and watching Creamy intently. She didn't seem to be aggressive, but then again... he huffed slightly, watching her with those golden eyes.

creamy went out of the bush, shyly. she sat down in front of them. they didnt look mean. she snifed again. they were loners, all right.
