Toko looked to him and then said "See you around.." He stood and proceeded out the cave opening and into the forest. He needed a nice stroll and to get away from the pack for a little bit. He understood why Gaea took frequent leisurely strolls. The forest was peaceful and quiet most of the time apart from the elk callings and the howls from the loners.

Gaea looked to her and smiled asking "I am fine. Thank you for asking.Could you go on a hunting trip then? we only have about two bunnies left and that's not enough to feed the pack." Her smile showed kindness and care as she looked to her with her ice-cold eyes.

Shaker closed his eyes and rolled up into a ball in the snow. He knew that wasn't the best place to nap but he was to cold to go farther.

Shae nodded with a bright smile glad to be useful. "Ok! I can do that!" she said jumping up and headed to the forest with a wagging tail.

Neptune woke. He suddenly realized that he'd been taking an awful lot of naps lately. He pushed his worry aside. "It's probably just winter." He said. He approached Gaea.
"Gaea? Please can I go hunting?" He asked her, his head tilted slightly to one side.
As he waited for her response he stared at her with his brown eyes and sighed.
'She would probably take Toko as her mate, not me.' He told himself bitterly and gazed at the cold, snow-covered ground.

Gaea turned to Neptune and smiled saying "Sure. You can join up with Shae. She just left." She motioned for him to get going with a motion with her head and she continued to the pack. She was now next to the little pups. She had always had a soft spot for pups. She had laid down next to them and they all crawled onto her. She giggled and then wished that she would be able to have some of her own too.

Toko had been traveling through the forest when he came upon a wolf into a ball. He looked from side to side and then back to the wolf. He had seen it breathing so he knew it was alive. He went around it and then stopped and looked back.

"Sure" Neptune replied, and then ran off after Shae.
"Shae! Gaea told me to hunt with you!" He panted.
"How about I go that way and you go that way" He panted, motioning to the different direction with his head.
He looked at Shae expectently

[yeeee.]

Launa raised her head, searching the horizon for wolves. "Let's wait here, a hunting patrol might find us!"

Caster sat down, grunting and breathing heavily. He didn't bother argue; for one, it was a good plan. For two, Launa got her way. Period.

Shakers body shivered as he slept in the snow tightly in a ball. His coat had always been thin unlike the other wolves thick ones after he had fallen into a deep river as a pup but he didn't like to talk about it.

Shae grunted at him and shook her head "Lets Go THIS Way both of us"she said not letting him split up with her in the deep cold snow. "Theres some food this way "she muttered watching him to follow.

"Fine. There's a bigger chance of getting more food for the pack if we split up as we'll cover more area seeing as prey's scarce right now but oh well." Neptune spoke through gritted teeth as he trudged after Shae." He stopped walking. "And besides, if we both go together to the same place we'll scare off the prey because we're not exactly light you know, like cats. And this stupid snow makes it hard to smell so our scents will be mingled" He pointed out. Neptune was very stubborn.

Shae growled "We are going this way"she wasn't about to give in.. She stepped softly looking around she could smell some rabbits but she wanted to get something bigger to help the pack longer.

"Fine"
After a while Neptune smelled something.
He frowned. "You smell that?" He asked, turning to Shae.
He sniffed the air again.
"It smells like a mixture of deer and... something else. It's not good, that's for certain."
He turned to Shae. "Do you smell it?" He questioned.
