((In response to New Nimrod bc I didn't see your post xc ))

Oli flashed a quick smile in Domtrix direction. He was always so kind and made everyone in the pack, not just Oli ((but especially her xD jkjk)) feel like they had a purpose here in this little camp. "You didn't do so bad yourself" She commented with a friendly twitch of the ear, And she absolutely ment what she said, he sped so fast after the deer, it was almost unnatural. She appreciated his commitment to this insignificant little pack, all the little things are slowly making this group into something wonderful. For one split second, while Domtrix dragged the doe back into the campground, Oli felt hopeful. Hopeful that maybe, just maybe, they'll last it through this winters, and the ones to come. They can't back down now, not when the pack had a fighting chance against the oncoming season of despair. Oli snapped out of her little moment of awe and quickly took hold of the prey's flank, helping to drag it back for the pack to feast.

||Skaii||

Skaii watched the older dogs, admiring them, and how the worked together so well. She was one of the youngest of the pack, and couldn't wait to be of use to the pack, rather than a hindrance to them. Skaii dreamed of growing up to be just as good as hunting as Oli, she wanted to be brave like Delgato and Domtrix. Longing took over her body, and she jumped up, and chased another bee that passed by her, practice makes perfect is what her guardian had told her before she disappeared. Skaii tried to block out the horrible thoughts of that day, and carried on chasing the bee around their territory. Blundering around she finally reached the spot with three of the others, she padded softly with her head down, she wasn't scared of the dogs, but they kept her fed, and she didn't want to do anything wrong. She just wanted to fit in.

Shadow smiles watching the hunt his duel color eyes flashes with pride watching his pack mates his eyes lingering on the alpha. In his eyes she was the most beautiful animal he had ever seen. He sighed softly from his hidden spot near the Entrence before getting up to help domtrix drag the deer back. The faster it was in the better. Then they wouldn't have scavengers nosing around as bad.

Domtrix watched as the beta came over, raising a brow in curiosity as to why the dog was behaving in such a pathetic manner. Truth be told, Dom found it a tad amusing, but no emotion showed on his face as he simply busied himself with the doe they had been lucky enough to catch. Sure, it wasn't the biggest, fattest thing in the world, but it was a lot more than a few rabbits as well. Listening to Delgato go on and on honestly made Domtrix want to just leave for a good while, disliking how the brute seemed to be acting as though he is the only one that does anything in the pack, which is far from true. He just snorted, looking down at the doe once they finally had it back to the camp, thanks to Oli and Shadow's help. "Thanks you two." He murmured with a curt nod, though no spark of happiness could now be found in his eyes. But that very quickly changed as little Skaii bounded over, his large tail beginning to wag as she came near. "Hey there little girl, don't look so down now." He crooned to her as he bowed down towards the pup, rolling onto his back and stretching his front paws out enough to have them just reach her. "How about we go on our own little hunt tomorrow." Domtrix encouraged with an ever so friendly smile on his face as he rolled back onto his belly and shuffled closer to her, licking behind her ear where her fur had a patch of dirt. "You pups are what keep us going every day, you know?" He added softly, resting his head on his paws as he watched her. At least it was the main reason for him, pups have always been the most important thing in the world to him, and they always would be. Looking back to Oli he showed a small smile, flicking a large ear as well, "You all go on and eat, I will just go out later and get something, I could use a walk anyways, and a patrol wouldn't hurt. Give Delgato there a break." He added, his gaze flicking over to the brute. He personally loves to patrol, and it hasn't ever been a burden to him, not has it worn him out too great of an amount. But every canine is different, so as long as he got to go for a patrol later on, he would be pleased.

Oli watched as the pack around her came to life, the doe sparking interest in everyones curious orbs. She was quite proud of the pack she was raising, and was gaining hope on the subject of getting through the storming winter. Oli leaned over the doe's coarse fur that covered its stomach, heat radiated off her still. It was nice to feed on such fresh kill, but Oli refrained from filling herself completely, as the pack's health was more important than hers. She retreated from the kill, licking her chops and nodding to the packmembers around her, wagging her stump tail a tad.
