[{The Doctor}]

Saki was hidding under a stair case where her white and brown fur hid her well. She watched everyone but as she was bigger then most pups she didn't play with many of the others.

"I know it's just... Scary, sometimes." she replied quietly, and focused her attention to the deer scent. "Such a dumb animal, coming so close to a pack of hungry dogs." She chuckled quietly, her fur, which was getting rather long in preparation for the winter months, was blowing lazily in the wind. The scent of prey tickled her nose, taunting her. "Care to join me in tackling this dumb deer?" She grinned a bit,and nudged her companion lightly, jumping to her paws. "We are gunna need it if we wish to survive the winter out here" Without waiting for a reply she padded slowly to the hole that the pack called The Enterance, nodding to Shadow and Skaii in acknowledgement along the way.

Shadow looked up watching the alpha leave. He stood up and took over the guard spot so they would have a good meal In them. He found his spot where he was very very well hidden in the foliage growing around the wall. If he sat or layed down in those plants no one could see him from the outside of camp and a lot of the time from inside aswell.

Delgato returned from patrol, shivering under his wiry, short fur. Dustings of early snow crackled under his pawpads, crunching into the grass under his weight. The winter was going to be cold this year, and a dog like him wouldn't enjoy it. He padded into camp, sighing with relief when his paws touched the dirt, warming quickly under the rising sun. He shook the dew that was clinging to his fur off, and searched for Oli to tell her of his findings- aka none. He found her stalking a deer, so he sat and watched her technique appreciatively. It was rare to find a dog able to stalk an animal, let alone a deer, with poise and confidence like Delgato himself.

Domtrix simply couldn't help but roll his eyes as he heard Shadow's response, shaking his head and looking at Oli as though asking if she heard what he just had. "Don't sound like such an old man all the time, heck I'm older than you." he added with a small grin, enjoying the fact he could so easily speak with his pack mates, feel so invited and warm with them. His deep brown eyes ventured to watch Skaii as she began to bounce around and chase after some sort if an insect he assumed, and it just reminded him yet more as to how lucky he was to know them all. He sighed inwardly as he noticed not so little Saki over by her lonesome, jetting a law suggestivly in Shadow's direction as the brute got up and came over to replace him, glad he was able to go hunting with Oli. "Pester Shadow a bit Saki." He barked to the pup with a little smile on his face, he would stay and let her mess around with himself, but he had a deer to help Oli with. Domtrix wish he knew better as to how and comfort Oli, but was finding it difficult, looking down towards her paws for a moment as he pondered over what to say. "Well... the days of you needing to be scared are long gone. I can ensure I will keep you all as well as can be, I couldn't let you down Oli." he added with his familiar, friendly and to be frank, charming grin. It was natural born apparently. Domtrix knew he didn't really need to respond, him following after her being enough of an answer, he didn't wish to spook the deer that his pack needed so badly to survive. It really was quite odd that the creature had come so close, but desperate times call for desperate measures. They soon grew close to the deer, his ears perched high on his head as he let his alpha lead, staying close just in case anything were to go not as planned. The last thing he wanted was for some deer to kick his alpha, and he would be there to drag it down, his body is just a mass of pure, built muscle. He was about to murmur if she was ready, but then the deer was spooked and began to ran away. Little did he know it was due to Delgato, he was far too fixated on the deer. Domtrix immediately growled in frustration, quickly giving chase, he locked his large jaws tight into it's lower back leg before he seized the chance and went for the doe's throat.

( sorry? Delgato is nowhere near the deer. He's watching through the foliage in camp- Domitrix would have far walked past him, as with Oli. ewe )

Oli grinned at his comment "I'm slowly getting this pack under control. It just a bit new to me." She shrugged the subject off and swiftly followed the doe. Out of the corner of her silver eyes was Delgato, her strongest dog in the whole pack, staring down the large creature that she was eagerly after. Hoping he would join his muscle and strength towards this prey with her, she tried flicking a paw, but Delgato was off in his own world. He stared down the poor thing, you would have thought it would of dropped dead from such an intense gaze. But unfortunately it got the hint it was being stalked, and bolted. Domtrix sped past Oli so fast, he was just a blur of teeth and fur. She quickly followed suit, as he hooked his jaws around the doe's kicking hind leg, Oli lunged for the back, landing square in the center. She began clawing it's thin rib cage, as her packmate enclosed his jowls around the prey's neck. This instantly made the creature trip, and it struggled for breath on the yellowed leaves that littered the forest floor. Finally, the dogs had won against the beastly prey.

Delgato sighed as he realized he made the deer bolt- what a fool move. He padded towards the alpha, his tail between his legs. He grimaced- sucking up to dogs was not his thing. 'I apologise. I didn't know you were intending on involving me in the hunt- I was taking notes on your technique to involve in my own.' He apologized, gritting his teeth. 'At least it didn't get away.' He finished, narrowing his eyes at the wiry, scrawny animal. 'I'll go out and catch some rabbits to make up for it. I was hoping to have some rest after patrolling all night,' Delgato rolled his shoulders, relieving the pressure in between them, 'but I can last a little longer.' He added, flashing a smile.

Domtrix gave a long, exhausted growl as the doe slowly began to end her struggle, standing firm on the ground with his jaws kept locked tight on it's large throat. He waited a good few moments after the doe's life finally came to an end before letting go, looking it over before his gaze went to Oli, a little grin on his face as his tail wagged with encouragement behind him. "Not a bad start for the winter now is it?" He questioned her with a wink as though saying so far all was going pretty well if he said so himself. "Let's get this thing back to camp." Domtrix murmured, knowing it was quite a job in itself to manage. He may be as muscular as can be, but a full grown doe is quite a lot to tug along in an awkward manner. He took hold of it by the back of it's neck, tugging it along for a short distance, he stopped for a quick breath before getting a better hold on it and progressing yet more with the seeee they had been lucky enough to bring down. "I bet you didn't even need me." Domtrix looked back to Oli and chuckled as he took a short break in the process, a humorous glint in his deep eyes. "You're a natural." He added, knowing very well that she had done an amazing job with helping him handle such a thing as a deer. He enjoyed encouraging others and boosting their views and thoughts in life, even when times are hard, it's the small things that can make a difference.

|| well if I would have found that clear enough I wouldn't have thought he was so near them, my apologies, it sounded as though he had followed her so yes. you didn't need to go along with it, it wasn't a big deal or anything, the deer just needed to move somehow and I figured you would prefer I include your character in some manner and not ignore it ||

Oli looked up from the doe that had just fallen victim to her mighty dogs. "No. It was not your fault, I should have lunged at it quicker. " she nodded in appreciation for this sorrowful gestures. "Please rest, dear Delgato, we need your power and energy when the sun rises, and the prey is out" She flicked her tail towards a small pile of fluff and meat in the center of camp, gesturing for him to grab a bite for the packs feeble prey pile. Guilt bled thorough her veins, she didn't mean for him to feel so terrible, but, at least they got a kill. It will fill the pack for a couple of days... she glared at the doe's scrawny frame, her ribs were quite visible. She sighed in pity of the pack, and the oncoming winter that lay a road she did not wish to walk.
