Hidden from the outside world, beyond the tall
mountain peaks; through a winding trail of
enormous trees, dancing through the grasses
of the moors, there lies a pack, once large
and powerful, ambitious, smart, cunning,
and loyal - they stand as one, they protect
each other fiercely, love each other as family.

The Adevăr pack have lived in the Rai Forest
for generations. It is coming to the end of one
of the worst Winter seasons they have ever
experienced. Once powerful and dominant,
the large pack of wolves has now been cut
down to a small minority after months of
bad hunting and illness. The land they have
called home for so many years just can't cater
for them anymore, and thus the Adevăr pack
are on the move. Spring is fast approaching,
and the new pups are needed now more than ever.

Rules of the Roleplay.
a) literacy
i want this roleplay to be decent, so please write a minimum of three lines. writers block does happen but it can't be used as an excuse all the time!
b) activity
i understand that you have a life outside of CS, and you may have to leave for some time, but please don't just leave us all hanging! let me know, or post on the discussion thread. if you are gone for more than two weeks without notice i will remove you from the roleplay.
c) forms
please make your own form, and post it on the application thread. do not post it here until you are accepted!
d) other basic rules
follow the site's rules, no mary/marty sues, don't godmod or powerplay, and be a nice roleplayer and stay respectful!

Rules of the Pack.
a) Pups are the very future of our pack they are the top priority and must be protected at all costs.
b) Mothers eat first, followed by the weaned pups, then the alphas, then the guards, then the hunters, then the omegas.
c) The alpha's word is law.
d) Any pups born with deformities will
either become Omegas or be abandoned.
e) Those who cannot hunt or help the pack
are not welcome to join the pack.

Bison - Rare - Six to Seven
Sheep - Rare - Two or Three
Mountain Goat - Rare - Three or Four

Ranks of the Pack
Alphas: The dominant breeding pair of the pack. What they say is law, and you
could suffer serious consequences if you go against them.

Betas: The second-in-command's. They aid all the Alpha's decisions, and
are to be respected. They are a breeding pair, but do not necessarily have to be mates.

Gammas: They are essentially the Elders of the pack, however refrain
from calling them this. They are seen as the wisest members of
the pack, and aid the Alpha's decisions. They have been taught the ways
of healing, so these are the ones you would visit with an injury.
This rank consists of around 3-5 wolves, who are well respected and well looked after until they
pass. You must be older than seven to become a Gamma.

Guards: Five males who basically do their best to protect the camp.
They must patrol at certain times of the day, and two must stay up all night.
They are given the best training in fighting. They are selected by the higher
ranks at a young age, and are always bigger, tougher wolves.

Hunters: What it says on the tin - this rank hunts for the pack. They are
well-muscled and work well in a group. The smaller wolves usually
hunt smaller prey, while the larger wolves go for the larger prey.
However they are essentially regular pack members, but are aloud to breed
with the Alpha's permission.

Mothers: The females who are the mothers of the pups. They
may stop their duties whenever they wish, however are not aloud
to return to their duties until the pups are six months old. Some
females have decided to dedicate their life to producing pups for
the pack.

Pups: The future of the pack. They are well-protected and are
not aloud to exit the nursery den until they are two months old. Even then,
they must be under supervision at all times and are not aloud to wander.
If a pup is born with deformities, it is usually abandoned / killed.

Apprentices: At six months old, pups become Apprentices.
They train for a moon, and then the higher ranks choose the
Guards. The rest are taught fighting skills, but mainly how to hunt.
Some females are given the choice to become pup-mothers permanently.


Omegas: They live the worst life possible - doomed to
imprisonment and bad treatment, these wolves have broken some
sort of pack law. These wolves eat after everybody has had their fill,
and sometimes not at all. Omegas are the be looked down upon, and
are not aloud to have mates or pups. After six months of imprisonment,
the Alpha of this pack usually gives the wolf thirty heart-beats to be free,
before he sends a bristling patrol after them. If caught, they will probably
be killed mercilessly.
