His yellow eyes were drawn to the dying fire as it attempted to cross the river and failed. "I don't know," he sighed, the smile on his face leaving. "I think we should push on a little more, just so prey will be better. Around the burnt forest I doubt any animal would be hanging around here."

>> Thunder flattened his ears as the flames, glaring at them. Thanks to this lovely fire, he now had to interact with wolves in order to find a new home. Awesome. He was so excited. The large brute stood and walked to the tree line, laying down underneath a low branch. His midnight pelt stood out in the green, but if anybody was smart, they would stay away.

Aurora was exploring the tree line not wanting to venture deep into the forest alone, not when it was getting late and she was alone in new territory. She was busy daydreaming and padding rather loudly through the rubble lying on the ground. As she passed a low log a black pelt stuck out and she stopped to investigate further "hi" she chirped "You must be from the North pack, I haven't seen you around. Are you ok?" she asked cheerfully wondering why the wolf was lying so far from the others.

(going to have Kiba move the pack to that den spot soon)

Lucas smirked at her comment before silently stalking forwards with light steps, behind Pandora. He was sure to time his movements according to whether the doe was watching or not, and eventually was only a few feet away from it. He was now next to Pandora as they waited for the right moment to strike "So I'll go for the legs..." he whispered.

(Tommy (omg I remember when we called you tom tom...) So tom tom I have 3 wolves open Aurora, Koda and Kiba)

Pandora nodded and stayed low for another few seconds waiting for the does attention to be drawn else where and then she struck, charging out of the undergrowth and heading for the small deer standing in the clearing, predictably it scatter revealing its slight limp "good choice" she called to Lucas as she closed in on the doe coming in from the side she was hoping to grab it's thigh or side, anywhere she could get a good grip.

Lucas grinned in enthusiasm and hurled himself towards the deer, clamping his jaws onto it's front leg in an effort to trip it. Though injured, it somehow managed to land a few kicks on him, but he refused to let go. After a short struggle, the doe finally lost its balance and fell abruptly onto the ground, sending dust flying into the air. He kept his grip on the doe as he waited for Pandora to finish it.

>> Thunder raised his head from the soft grass as another wolf approached him. Don't talk to me. Don't talk to me, he thought bitterly, not wanting anything to do with any of these wolves. Even better, it was a Southerner. Ugh. And she was peppy. He sighed and naturally glared at the fea. "Do I look like a weakling to you?" He replied, standing and removing himself from the tangle of branches. The large wolf stood with his side to the fea, but continued to stare her down. "I am not injured, and even if I was, I would still be fine."

Seeing the chance Pandora pounced landing on the doe aiming for her neck she gripped tightly until the doe took one last breath. She backed away and cleaned her muzzle a little. She'd come away fairly un-harmed just some small scrapes on her side "you ok?" she said panting slightly as she was a little out of breath from the running she'd done.

Aurora almost laughed at the brute finding his stubbornness quite amusing, although she managed to restrain herself and keep a straight face "I was just checking" she said in a cheerful tone "I mean we were running from a fire a few minutes ago" she commented. She noticed him trying to stare her down and chose to ignore this continuing with her bubbly personality, her brother had been similar to this brute, stubborn and rude she'd always found it funny to act like nothing was wrong and watch as he grew frustrated with her, of course they were just pups then and no real harm was ever done.

Feeling the doe stop struggling, Lucas released his grip before turning to look at her. He also panted as he struggled to catch his breath. The kicks had knocked the wind out of him, though barely. "Yeah, never better," he nodded with a smile and licked his chops as he stared at their kill. They had been extremely lucky to have found prey, especially after the fire, which was probably how the doe had ended up wounded.

>> Thunder scoffed at the fea. "I'm not phased by a simple flame," he snorted. "What use is it to you that I'm fine?" He questioned the female curiously, simply because it made no sense to him. She shouldn't care, one because he didn't even know her name, and two because she was from the South and he from North. He didn't know about her, but he didn't care one ounce about the other pack, even if they were together.

Pandora stayed quiet for a few moments waiting to catch her breath. As she took in deep breaths she glared up at the sky through the trees, it was pretty dark now so she enjoyed watching the stars twinkling in the sky. She let out a small sigh as she turned her attention back to Lucas "I suppose we should start hauling this back to the pack when you're ready" she said quietly, she glanced back to the doe as she finished speaking. It was tempting to take a bite but it was considered rude, eating before wolves of a higher rank and the last thing they needed was drama.

(uh oh... yeah it's never nice when that happens)
Aurora was admittedly growing a little irritated by the brute no matter how hard she tried to stay calm "It's called caring, when you're dying painfully under a log i'll make sure no one helps you" she said trying her hardest not to snap at him. She looked at him again "Just because you enjoy misery doesn't mean everyone else does" she muttered slightly annoyed at herself, at the fact this brute was really starting to get to her. She bit her tongue slightly holding back everything else she wanted to say to the brute. Perhaps it was just the joining of the packs, she wasn't keen on the idea but there was nothing she could do, maybe he needed to realize that too she wondered to herself.

Caster relaxed as she applied the sap. "Thank ye, an' I dodnt know yer job was healer," he commented, noting to catch up on pack stuff... he moved out of the way so she had her space, sat down and started grooming. "Do ye know how t hunt?" He asked, knowing that the pack needed prey.

She smiled at the brute "Yes i am a healer" she said with a laugh as she just doubled checked his wounds and looked to see Aurora talking to Thunder was it?.... She turned back to Caster and shook her head "I can hunt but I think my skills as a healer and needed more at the moment...Besides I think I saw Lucas and Pandora go find some food". Tali turned to walk to where the other wolves were to put her skills to use.

{sure, Koda is pretty much to toned down version of Thunder xD Kiba is lurking somewhere too so either is fine but Koda and Talia had that little outburst earlier}

Koda was still by the water, his front paws in the shallows he was staring out at the fire on the other side silently. Arguably he looked a little creepy but he was never one to care what people thought. He let out a small sigh as another tree came down the fire was dying down slightly but he knew the chances of them ever returning were slim, very slim. Plus, that place was never home not the northern territory anyway this place was as good as any.
