"I'll take those back for the pack." He said, looking to some partly burned burgers. "Will you be alright on your own?" He asked Kasey, before looking at her nod. Chase picked up the few burger patties and headed back to the pack.

She rumaged through the trash before noticing a grey and white pitbull eating alittle amount. "Huh." Kasey thought outloud before padding to the pitbull with a partial burnt burger patty, Chase had forgotten. "Hi there." She barked to Nero as she put down the patty in front of her. "This is for you." She grinned. "I'm Kasey. Who are you?" Kasey asked.

He stopped as he heard two voices coming from the alley down from him and he stopped to listen. He tilted his head and scented the air for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and continuing on his way, not worried about the other two dogs at all. He then heard someone padding behind him and he stopped and turned around, seeing a black fea coming closer to him with some sort of food in her mouth. He listened to her without saying a word, only pricked ears and a small smirk in amusement. This fea had no idea who he was, why she offering her food to him. He gave a small chuckle and shook his head before nudging the burnt burger closer to the fea. He lifted his head again and looked a this new fea. "Thanks sweetheart but, i'm fine on my own." he said then listened again as she introduced herself. "Kasey, huh? And my name? My name is Nero. Nice to meet you sweetheart." he said with a wink.

Odessa laid in the abandoned car that she had found the night before. One door had been completely taken off but the other doors were thankfully still intact and closed. The inside of it was dusty and the seats were ripped up but, other than the appearance, it was quite comfy and it was the only place she felt some what safe in. She hadn't smelled any other dogs near the car but, she knew that didn't mean that they wouldn't be around sometime so she shouldn't get to comfy. She stretched out and sighed as she rested her head on her paws and gazed out of the open spot where the door should be. It was quiet, which was nice but, also made her slightly uneasy.. She then stood up and jumped down from where she lay. She looked at her belly and sighed. "Let's go find something to eat little ones." she said before heading out in search of food.

dusty saw Odessa, and he walked up to her "hello!" he said in his normal happy voice "who are you? are you hungry? I just found a huge bag of dog food" he said, not paying attention to what he was saying

"erm nice to meet you Nero." She woofed and raised an eyebrow. A wolf who never met me is calling me sweetheart? She thought and rolled her eyes. "So are you alone out here?" She asked more confidently, her tail thumping along the ground.

"Hey Shiya!" He managed a bark as he made his way to her and bowed his head. Chase put down the burger patty's in front of her."Me and Kasey got up early so we decided to go over to the restaurant dumpsters"

He watched her raise an eye-brow then roll her eyes and he let out a small huff of amusement. He scented the air, just in case, and then sat down and looked around. It was almost weird being around another dog again Since he had been alone now for what seemed like quite some time. He looked back at Kasey and pricked his ears at her. It was like she had read his thoughts though he only nodded. "Yeah, i am.. Alone." he said as he looked at his paws. He shook his thin coat then looked back at the fea. "And i already know that you aren't" he told her.

She kept her head and tail down as she walked along, hoping that no one would take notice of her. She looked from left to right, being very cautious of her surroundings and making sure there were no other dogs or dog catchers out and about. She saw another dog just ahead of her and tried turning quickly, hoping that it hadn't seen her but, it was too late.. She laid her ears back and cowered down slightly, unsure of how this dog was going to react to her being there. His happy tone made her feel better but, she knew better then to immediately trust this dog just because he had a happy tone to his bark. His immediate questions were almost overwhelming but she swallowed before sitting up and looking at the brute, keeping her tail close to her side and her ears pinned against her head. "H-hi, i'm O-odessa.. A-and, y-yes, i am a bit h-hungry.." she answered him. He had sparked her interest as he mentioned having found a bag of dog food. She needed food and badly. She wasn't just feeding herself anymore, she was now feeding a little of pups.

Dusty smiled "it's over here,follow me" he says, walking at a slow pace to the food.

"You must've heard my older brother. He's gone now though, with the pack i'm in." She barked softly and sat down near him. "Why are you alone exactly? Have you heard of the dog catcher, yet?" She asked, not wanting to alarm him too much.

He looked behind Kasey then back at her and nodded note that there was a pack in the area since they usually didn't take to kindly to lonersw, although Kasey seemed nice enough. He pulled his ears back in surprise as she sat down near him but, didn't say anything about it. He heard her question and looked down "I, uh-" he began then shut his jaws and looked back at the fea as she continued about the dog catcher. He couldn't help but laugh at her question. "Sorry for laughing but, of course i know about the dog catcher. I was born on the streets and have lived here all my life, i've had to dodge him a few times myself but, luckily i've never been caught." he told her then tilted his head and looked curiously at her. "What about you? What's your story? You seem like the kind of dog that would be with a family in a big house and running around in a big backyard with the kids, not living in some dirty city on the streets." he told her honestly.

She stood up hesitantly, wondering if it was really a good idea to go with a dog that she knew nothing about. She was about to follow then put her paw back down and looked around. She sighed then began following after the brute. She made sure not to follow to closely though and stayed a few tail-lengths behind him. She looked at the ground then back up and ahead at the brute."So, uh.. What, um.. What's your name?" she finally asked shyly.

He smiled some "my name is dusty!" he wagged his stumpy little tail when they got to the bag of food "it's kinda in the open, but I guess I storm could have blown it here" he says, then he rips off the top, and dog food pours out of the bag

"Well...thats not at all what my story's like..." She murmered so quietly he could barely hear. Her ears flattened and she frowned."Well...um... I-I don't want to talk about it. Maybe some other time perhaps..." Kasey barked, still frowning. "Well, your welcome to come to the pack with me, if you'd like." Her deep brown eyes gazed at the pitbull, hoping she had made a new friend.
