Saphire stepped silently over to a small moss pile over by a big pine tree. She liked this area, it was good for sleep, and quiet. Ooh and being antisocial and shy.

Star

She walked in the thin snow, her paws were too cold to feel and she was shivering. Once she came across a frozen river, she started to scratch on it, trying to break it and get a colt drink. But when she clawed at it, it was thinner than she had expected it to be so it cracked open and she fell in the freezing water. She didn't know that wolves couldn't breath under there so when she tried to get a breath of air, water went flowing into her mouth, causing her to swallow a lot of water. She started to paddle, though it was hard for her and once her snout was in the air, she took a deep breath before getting weaker each second. Her muscles started to become more sore the more the paddled, and every once in a while, she would get a small breath.

Saphire pricked her ears, she heard splashing in the near by river, which wasn't right, it was frozen. She dashed over and found a small pup drowning. Immediately following her mothering instinct she pulled the pup up onto safe cold dry land.
"Are you ok?" She asked.

Star

She started to cough up lots of water, feeling a bit sick. A cold gush of wind flowed in the air, making her shiver more than ever. Now her body felt like it was as light as air, and she could hardly move her body limbs because of how weak, cold and how tired she was. She couldn't really move her mouth once she finished coughing, so she didn't reply.

Saphire started to lick the small cub. Then she picked up the cub by the scruff of its neck, and she carried her to the moss pile, where she curled up around the cub, and tried to keep it as warm as possible.

Kekere

Kekere walked slowly through the snow, her paws already accustomed to the coldness of the light layer that covered the ground. She loved the winter season, the white of the snow and the serenity of the layout of the land. The fae flicked her ears at the sounds of some struggling nearby and padded towards the sound to find another fae pulling a pup to safety. She kept her distance for a few moments before making her way over to the two wolves.

Tonkono

Tonkono made his way through the snow quietly, taking large strides that matched his large body. The one season that he could not stand was winter. His coat stood out from the white powder that covered the ground and it was harder to hunt and stay fed.

Saphire's ears pricked as she heard the faint sound of snow crunching underneath a wolf's paw. She turned her heard and saw a wolf approaching her.
Saphire let out a small snarl.

She could feel heat all around her wet, cold body. She huddled even closer to the wolf, trying to get even more heat. Her teeth started to chatter and her body was still shaking. She could still feel and hear the whistling of winds, but barely. She wined a bit after she was slowly gaining her stamina.

Kekere

Kekere growled back at the fae and let her tail hand limp. "Is the pup okay?" She asked, keeping alert as she asked the question.
