Misty shook the water off her muzzle and watched Thomas as he swam. She moved closer to where Thomas was swimming so she could keep an eye on him. Her white underfur was dirty, thanks to the grass-less ground as so she decided she would lie in the water to wash it off. While she lay in the water, she looked around to try and hide the herbs she was looking for.

Hudson took long strides as he walked next to the alpha, all of his senses alert and ready for anything. As they walked he felt a little awkward with the silent and so started up a conversation "So Sky, how long has it been since you have seen your sister?" his voice held some caution as he knew it was a personal thing to ask but in Hudson's mind if you still had family the effort should still be made to keep the connection strong. He took a deep inhale, to fill his nose with the scent of nature around him and happy to find nothing out of the ordinary.

Thomas swallowed the water before pawing at a stone at the bottom of the river bed. The stone came loose from the sandy yet it remained at the bottom. Thomas dug his paw into the hole and dug a little deeper. Strange enough he found a bottle. Taking it in his jaws he nibbled on the bottom.

She watched Thomas resurface with a bottle with a puzzled look on her face. "Be careful love, let me have a look please" she gently took the bottle and began to investigate it. It was a glass bottle and so she didn't bite on it too hard, knowing it would cut her. It was only filled with water which was a shame but it was something interesting. "Do you want to keep it?" she turned to the spotty puppy, a smile on her face.

Thomas nodded,"I'm going to collect a lot of cool stuff like this." He stood up straighter and sniffed at the green bottle. It had an odd scent to it, like grass but he still wanted it. "Do you think there is more stuff like this at the bottom?" He tilted his head to the right while gazing at the riverbed.

Lily chuckled. "I know the feeling. Being Alpha means you need to wake up before most of the other dogs... which is actually rather grueling." Lily looked down at the floor, moving her paw along the grass slowly. Sometimes she thought about what it would be like not to be Alpha. I mean, she wouldn't have the family name to uphold, or have to take care of a whole pack. Lily realized she had forgotten about Raven, and she looked back up with an awkward smile. "But who cares. That's the price you have to pay."

Skipper opened his eyes to the voice of Kylie. She was still far away from him, but not so far away that he couldn't hear her. "Patrolling, huh?" Skipper waited a while, looking around him before finally standing up to follow Kylie and patrol. He didn't want it to seem like the Second in Command was doing more than the Lead. He made sure to keep his distance so she wouldn't notice him. As he followed her, he caught the wife of another dog... it was Francis; the Lead Healer. Skipper stopped and sat down, interested in the conversation. Kylie was being her usual self, and so was Francis. The blunt and the flirt. Skipper couldn't help but slightly chuckle to himself at their conversation.

"Alright momma." Thomas waded his way to shore, his tail whipping the water as it wagged. One he reached the shore he shook his pelt, not like there was much to dry out but at least he wouldn't be cold. He waited for his mother to swim out so he could help her look for the aloe vera. I think I'll eat some of those leafy things she was talking about earlier. Licking his jaws he scanned the river's shore for the aloe vera.

The Fae chuckled. "I see." She answered, her tail swaying. She watched her get lost in her thoughts, before chuckling as she spoke again. "Yes.. I see." She murmured.

"Oh.." he paused. "Uhm, I haven't seen her in a while, so I really don't know." He confessed.

Zander got up and walked around bored, he went in no direction particularly and ended up seeing two familiar dogs. He let a small smile onto his muzzle as he noticed the one pup in the pack. "Hey Misty and Thomas." Zander barked to them as he walked out from behind the trees. He wagged his tail behind him and looked at them both. Zander rested his eyes on Thomas watching the small pup, but after a few moments he let his gaze go up to Misty. "Collecting herbs? Or something along those lines?"
