Arrow

He sighed and gazed up at the sky, watching as the sun and clouds hid into the night. There wasn't much time to go swimming now, unless Ohana wanted to go at night, but he doubted it. "I guess we better head back," he said before padding silently back to camp, disappointed that he couldn't hold a better conversation with her.

"D'awww, I thought we were gonna go swimming. The water is still warm. C'mon!" She caught up to Arrow and nudged him. "Pleeeease?" She begged. She liked Arrow. And she wanted to get to know him more and hangout more often, though she was afraid to express the fact.

Sorry for taking long to reply and the short posts, I'm on my old phone))

"You still want to?" Arrow asked as his eyes lit up with interest. He hadn't expected that kind of answer from Ohana, though he was eager to spend more time with her.

One of Rain's ears twitched as she slept soundly next to Abeni. It was nice to finally have some company after long days full of solitude.

"Yes! I looked forward to swimming. I looove swimming." She exclaimed. She smiled when Arrow turned to face her. "Ya wanna? I'll race ya!" She said. She lowered the front half of her body so she was bowing like a pup. Her tail tagged from side to side quickly.

"Uh...okay," Arrow chuckled at her sudden playful mood and puppish-like stance. She sure had enthusiasm. He did too though, especially when it came to swimming, and well to his knowledge, the water was currently calm enough. With no time to waste, he crouched his body low next to hers, "Ready, set, go!" he quickly barked before his legs bolted him off towards the river, unaware of the flood they would soon experience.

Ohana laughed, then when he said go she bolted, allowing him to get a head start then raced after him, she caught up easily and ran just about a heads length in front of him. Her feet barely touched the ground and she felt as if she was flying. She held her nose in the air sniffing at it like she could smell the stars. She felt as though she could live in this moment forever.

[Abomination.]

Arrow sped his pace up, noticing Ohana was now in front of him, though barely. The wind ruffled his pelt as he dodged trees with ease, his leaping strides enabling him to pass her within seconds. The river was now within feet, and he pushed himself even harder that is until a fallen log got in his way and made him stumble and fall face flat onto the shallow part of the water. He shook dirt from his face "Did I win?" he asked, looking around in the darkness.

Ohana laughed when Arrow looked up with dirt in his face. She nodded. "Yes. Haha. You did win."

Arrow smiled and wadded deeper into the water, enjoying how the relaxed feeling it gave him. He knew they had to be careful though since the river could be quite unpredictable, and the fact that it was dark out didn't help much either.
