He had stopped searching for Shadow, instead simply watching Zoe from a distance while he waited for Shadow to make an appearance. It didn't take very long as only a minute later he heard her voice. Looking over his shoulder he saw her as well as Arrow. Maybe he'd get both their opinions. Standing up he walked over, stopping near them and turning to face Zoe as he spoke to Shadow. "She's a loner, names Zoe. Seems nice enough, apparently she's come a long way. Figured I'd get your opinion on it. Yours too Arrow, since you're here," he told them. He wanted to be sure the pack would take well to a new member. They didn't get them often, so when they did it was a special event.

"A new members always fine with me," Arrow replied with a small smile, though he knew Proxim didn't need his approval. If his alpha could trust her then he figured they could too, right? He nodded Zoe a friendly hello before turning back to Proxim "What rank would she be?" he asked curiously.

Shadow watched as arrow and her alpha talked about letting the loner stay she disliked the idea more and more. WHen proxim turned to her she smiled and answered "I think it'll be fine as long as your ok with it" she said glancing over at Zoe.

He considered what the loner could be in the pack. There were a few options it was just a matter of picking one was all. "Not too sure. I suppose it will be up to her," He responded. He was unaware of her abilities as a hunter or a fighter. For now it would just be a matter of seeing what she could do. A moment later Shadow gave her opinion, not what he was looking for exactly. "Arrow, you mind going greet her for me. Make her feel welcome. Thanks," He said. While it should have been more of a question it came out as a command. He needed Shadow's opinion, not his. He waited for Arrow to be gone before turning to Shadow, "I need your actual opinion Shadow. Don't just agree with me. You're my beta, speak your opinion."

Shadow watched as arrow walked away. Now it was just her and her alpha, she shifted uncomfortably."look, the only reason I'm uneasy with her staying here is because of my past and It's hard to forget about, so, I'm pretty sure if you think it's ok it's probably fine to keep her here." She said hoping he wouldn't ask about why she didn't want her to stay.

"Uh sure," Arrow's ears flicked at his alpha's request, noticing he wanted to speak with the beta in private. He padded towards Zoe but glanced back at them, wondering if Shadow would truly be okay with the new member. Now Arrow wasn't the best at welcoming new wolves either, but he'd try his best "Hi Zoe, mind if I show you around?" he asked.

He sighed softly as she explained. That was discouraging. "The past is the past Shadow. Even if you can't forget it you need to learn to look past it. I can't have my beta unable to make decisions in the here and now. Understood?" He asked, looking at her sternly. He wanted a beta who could help him make decisions even if they had personal problems.He had personal problems but he still had to be able to look past them in order to help the pack. "If you need to talk about I'm here for you," He said after a moment. He turned back to face the pack, watching Arrow as he approached Zoe. He had already made the decision to let her stay but letting her get to know the pack couldn't be all that bad.

"I know, I know" shadow said. "And your completely right" she said feeling a bit better " and Zoe seems great, but just something I think we should put her through hunting and fighting training so we can see what she's best at" shadow said feeling better about the decision.

He was glad to hear his beta agree with him, even if what he had said was mildly harsh. He just wanted to know she was reliable. Which judging how she had turned around so quickly she was. "Good. We'll get her started in a while. Find a reliable hunter and a reliable fighter to help out. Any of them will do really," he told her. For now he figured she could have a little meet and greet with the pack. He still wanted to make sure she'd fit in. A pack divided wasn't much of a pack was it? Or maybe he just wanted to head out for a run and he didn't want to deal with this right now. It could got either way really.
